He woke me up right before we arrived.
I groaned slightly and slid down from his lap.
I rubbed my eyes and streched.

Mattheo grinned at me and I just gave him a ‚don't say a word or I kill you' look.

I was suprised as we came out of the station and a car was waiting for us.
The driver was very polite and seemed to know the boys.
I assumed that he worked for the Riddles.

The car ride wasn't long.
But it felt terribly long.
I was dead ass nervous.
I stroked through my hair for the millionth time.

The car stopped in front of a big house.
It was obviously very old but really beautiful.
The way up the house were plastered with white and light rose flowers.
It looked like straight out of a painting.
Mattheo grabbed my bag for me after I gave up arguing with the two that I could carry it myself.

In front of the door I took a deep breath.
I was about to stroke through my hair again when Tom grabbed my hand.

„Calm down. It will be ok"

He mumbled and opened the door.
He held it open for me and I stepped inside.

The entrance hall was huge.
But it looked way more cozy than I had expected. There were a lot of paintings looking up and greeting the boys that got inside after me.
The walls were high and dark.
But the big windows flooded the rooms with a lot of light.
I looked up to a huge silver chandelier.
Everywhere where flowers.
It looked beautiful.

„Mom! MOM! We are here!"

Mattheo yelled and I flinched.
He almost yelled into my ear because he stood right behind me.

Tom slapped the back of his head.

I was fidgeting with my rings and still looking around.

„Oh you're early. I am glad..."

A woman stepped out of the door.
She was so beautiful.
She was not so short.
Probably around 5'6 or 5'7.
She had long almost black wavy hair, a rather pale skin and a very petit figure.
Now I knew why Mattheo and Tom were so handsome. No wonder when this were their mother.

She had an empty vase in her hand.
She looked up and her piercing green eyes met mine.

Her light smile on her face faded instantly and the vase in her hand fell to the ground and bursted into a million pieces.

I flinched and looked shocked.

„Mom! What's..."

„Don't move mother"

„Oh my god are you ok Miss Riddle?"

I stepped closer clearly concerned.
She kept starring at me.
I was confused.
Was this bad?
Was there something wrong with me?
I looked slightly back to the boys but they were as clueless as me.

„Miss Riddle are you hurt?"

I asked concerned until I heard her say a name.

„Avalia...."

My heart dropped.
She couldn't.
I hadn't heard that name in forever.
I stepped back.
Panic washed over me.

„Did you?"

„No i didn't"

I heard the boys whisper behind me.

In that moment Miss Riddles eyes snapped onto the boys.

„You could have told me she was a Hollingsworth!"

I couldn't read her voice.
Was she angry?
Was this bad?
