My breath quickened.
Tom instantly looked up.
His gaze followed mine and his brows narrowed.

Mattheo noticed that we both were staring behind him.
He turned and let one of the boxes fall.
They both got instantly up.

My father looked at us.
Clearly uncomfortable and disgusted.
My face went hot.
I wanted to get up.
To defend myself.
To hurt him.

He got closer.
Opening the curtain.
I noticed how he was limping.
He seemed in pain while walking.
Also he was wearing gloves.
He had never done that.
It gave me a strange satisfaction to know that he still suffered.

„What do you want"

I said loud before any of the boys could react.
His eyes were fixed on me.

„Disappointed? Your precious little hair failed. You won't get rid of me"

My voice was dripping with disgust and mockery.
I could see in his face how bad he wanted to do something.

„I was called in. The headmaster wanted to talk about my children"

he layed a lot of disgust in the last word.

„I would start searching for another school for your wayward creature."

Mattheo snarled.
I could see how tensed up both of them were.

„Watch your mouth"

my father spitted out.

„My brother is damn right. When he stays he's dead. And you can be greatful that you're still alive"

Tom's voice was almost a growl.
I knew he had to gather all his strength.

„Who's idea was it? Yours or his? Or is the old man behind it?"

I asked cold.
No emotion shown on my face.
Solomon frowned as I mentioned my grandfather.

„It was his plan. I had no idea. He's quite upset since Abraxas passed"

My heart skipped a beat.
Did he say he passed?
A wicked grin crossed my face.

„Passed huh? How sad"

I said sarcastically.
I couldn't help but smile bright.
His eyes fired daggers at me.
But he wouldn't dare to say something.

„He got what he deserved. I hope it was painful"

I said cold still smiling.

„You little-„

„I don't think you should be here Solomon. What have I said about coming near her?"

Marvolos loud voice cut him off.
Solomon flinched hard and turned.
I smiled bright as I saw Eve and Marvolo.

„What are you doing here?"

Solomon asked confused.

„She's still our god daughter. And I made that sure with Dumbledore. That's why we will be present at your talk. To make sure everything goes accordingly."

his deep brown eyes pierced Solomon.
My father huffed and limbed out.
I relaxed seeing him leave.

„I'm so glad you're here"

I said smiling.

„What god parents would we be."

Eve said sweet and shoved Tom aside to sit next to me.

„I'm gonna make sure this filthy idiot gets expelled."

I smiled.
Then Solomon's words came back into my head.
