{Pref.} Halloween With Them

Info: Platonic. Sibling!reader. Reader is the youngest.

Darry doesn't care much about Halloween, but if you like it he'll indulge you. He'll try to find the time to help you dress up, take you trick or treating and watch horror movies with you. Just please don't ask him to dress up too — he would secretly like to, but feels like because of his role as the Responsible Adult™ he shouldn't do something as childish as dressing up.

Sodapop likes Halloween simply because you like it. If you want to dress up he'll put soo much effort into the costumes because he wants you guys to have the absolute coolest ones. He'll come trick or treating if Darry and Pony don't want to, or if you insist on him being the one to accompany you, but would just as well do his own thing. Won't steal your candy, but low-key begs you to share.

Ponyboy prefers a calm and quiet Halloween night. Staying home and watching whatever spooky movie happens to be on TV, reading horror stories, that kinda thing. He's not big on the idea of taking you trick or treating, and really only does so if Darry says he has to. He does want you to have a nice time, though, and offers to help with your costume no matter which of your brothers will be going with you.

Johnny would probably join Ponyboy for a quiet evening full of horror stories if given the chance, but if you want him to go trick or treating with you he'll do so. He helps with your costume as much as he can. Probably won't let you stay out too long, though, and drags your ass to the Curtis house for a sleepover with Pony once you collected enough candy.

Dallas is a bit of a selfish asshole sometimes, okay? He will not help you make a Halloween costume. He will not go trick or treating with you, though he might ask Two-Bit, who he knows goes trick or treating with his little sister, to take you with them. He will steal your candy. He will not watch horror movies with you, because he says you're too small and will get scared. He'll be off at some Halloween party or other, without a costume of course, and get drunk; you can take care of yourself.

Two-Bit is such a sucker for Halloween. He spends the whole day eating candy and jumpscaring people, and very much encourages you to do the same — when he isn't trying to scare the living hell out of you, that is. He'll gladly accompany you and your sister trick or treating, but you have to share the candy you get with him.

Steve likes Halloween, though he's not quite as enthusiastic about it as you. It's a great excuse to eat even more chocolate than usual, but then again, he doesn't really need an excuse to stuff everything sweet he gets his hands on into his mouth. He doesn't want to dress up, but will help you find/make a costume if you want him to. It goes without saying he'll come trick or treating with you (and probably makes Soda come too), because he knows there's no way you'll eat all that candy by yourself.
