It's a lonely day especially the clouds, it's grey. I was just sitting on the bench, looking around, observing people that are living normal lives but behind those normal lives, some are sad, terrified, actually happy, a psychopath, and a lot more. I decided to stay in this bench to be alone.
And then I saw you. You were also alone but never considered to chat with people. You were just facing at front and I can see that you were also crying.
It took me a heart beat to get closer to you and ask if you are okay but I decided to start a normal conversation first.
"Hi""Hello"--
"Um, why are you alone?"
"I'm not alone."--
"You are."
"I am not"--
"Yes, you are."
"I am not because you are here. As a stranger way."--
"So..."
"You do know that it's sometimes dangerous to talk to strangers."--
"You're not."
"But you are to me"--
"Then, how old are you?"
"I am 14. And you?"--
"I am 12."
"Really."--
The conversation ended that way and for 5 minutes, I was playing with my thumbs and you were really, really silent.
"What's your name?"--"My name is Kai."
"Hi? Kai"--
"You?"
"Ain't telling."--
"Why?"
"I'll tell you who I am when it's the right time."--
"When will that be?"
"Soon"--
"Unfair"
"Fine. Let's go somewhere else. If it's fine with you? We will just walk around here. Not too far and not too close from here."--
"O-Okay"
"Would you like a crepe?"--
"If it's fine with you."
For a stranger, it felt like he wasn't. There was something that's bothering me and I was feeling hot while we were walking together. We went inside the mall, he wasn't speaking, nor looking. Just straight ahead, looking for that place where we could eat a crepe.
"Uwoohh!! There!! Let's go!!"--"Are you really sure that you're 14 y/o?"
"I am!! Ahahhaha!! I am"--
He paid for the both of us after he bought me a crepe that is made out red velvet, vanilla ice cream, caramel syrup and lastly, with cheesecake pops. I started to think that he might be a rich kid. We sat in a crowded place with a beautiful view of the park from the here. I was really happy that I met him today.
"Can you tell me your name now?""I can't. I'll tell you when it's the right time."--
He smiled at me after saying that. He's trying to hide something from me. Well, of course he would. We are both strangers that met in a bench.
He finished his crepe first while I'm still on the half of mine.
He turned his face towards his left view and, while the lights are reflecting from his face, he had that smile that I was confused of. His fluffy hair is waving back and forth and it made me want to touch it. His jawline was exposing a bit and his eyes, those sparkling eyes. I can't believe I'm falling for a stranger at this age of mine. And then he looked at me. My heart was feeling hot so as my face. He looked at my crepe and asked,
"Are you gonna finish that?"--
