She is like a delicate flower
She is like a delicate flower
One with thorns but they don't prick
The thorns have been sanded down to where there is no point at all
She has demons
Ones she can't fight off because her thorns have been taken away from her,
her only safety plan
As the girl comes to pluck her away she can't fight her off
She tries
She sways in the wind
She uses her sanded thorns but they do nothing
The girl plucks her from the ground
She can't fight
She can't scream
She can't cry
She must let it be
She must let the girl pluck her from the ground and take all her petals away
Her joy, her confidence, her power, her strength
Each one getting plucked away
Till there is nothing left
The girl uses her as a pawn
A pawn in her game of does he love me or does he not
Oh she just wants to run
She just wants to hide
But she can't
As her thorns were sanded down at such an early age she hasn't been able to fight
She must let the demons come and slowly pick her away till there is nothing left
She is like a delicate flower, one that has thorns but can't use them, her beauty defined by her petals but those being taken away
She can't fight, she can't run, she can't hide, she must just let it be
She is a delicate flower
And the she is me-cj
