Why does a girl love flowers
Is it just a cliché?
A flower represents beauty
Flowers represent love
Why does she love flowers
It's just a silly plant, they die in just a few days
She loves flowers because she never received them before.
They always represented a love she never had
She loves flowers because of their beauty, simple but elegant
She loves flowers because it's a simple gesture, a simple way of showing, "I love you"
She always dreamt of getting flowers
Like her sister did, like her mother
She saw people in her life receiving acts of love but she never received anything
All she wanted was for someone to give her flowers to prove she was lovable
She never believed she could be loved
That she deserved love
That she was beautiful, or worthy
Those flowers represented everything she ever dreamed of, love, beauty, worth
She waited and waited but never did she receive
Eventually she got flowers
But not from someone else, from herself
Because she believed she was lovable, beautiful, and worthy
And after that
The girl's love for flowers flourished
