Lily's POV

I woke up to something on my face. It was furry. It was also.... Moving? What the heck? The thing abruptly launched itself off my face and into the spot next to me on the bed. It turned my head to see what it was. Henry. I should've known. "Come here you crazy cat." I picked him up and set him in my lap. I stroked his fur as I stared out the window. I had no clue what I was going to do today. I didn't really feel like doing anything. Elizabeth's show was still not running. I could just stay here all day. I bet Henry would enjoy the company. I looked at my phone and it was Tuesday. Crap! I had missed school yesterday. Julia did too but I don't think she really cares. Well I didn't want to go today either so I'll just go tomorrow. I decided to actually do something rather than sit in bed so I got dressed and went to go find something to eat. Henry followed me around the kitchen as I prepared myself a bowl of cereal. I sat down at the table and gave him a few pieces. Elizabeth was no where to be seen. She was probably in her room. From the moment I met her, I could tell she was not a morning person. I wasn't either so we already had something in common. I finished my cereal and sat down on the couch and scrolled on my phone. I was really bored, and I changed my mind about not wanting to do something. I could maybe go on a walk, but I have to wait for Elizabe- wait! I walked around by myself yesterday. Who's says I can't do it again? I grabbed a hoodie and left a note on the counter that said I went for a walk. I walked over to Henry and patted him on the head. "Bye Henry. I'll be back soon okay?" He put his paw on my knee as a response. I walked out the door and off I went.

Elizabeth's POV

I woke up to the sound of my door opening. Was someone breaking in? No I'm overreacting. I'm fine. I went to grab my phone and saw my framed photo of Alex that he gave me for my birthday. Maybe I could meet up with him today. Just then, I heard my stomach growling. "I guess I can manage to actually get out of bed." I said to myself with a laugh. I opened the door and walked to the kitchen. Henry was lying on the floor near the door. "Do you want some food?" He suddenly looked up like I had said the best thing he has ever heard in his entire existence. I poured some of his food into his bowl by the fridge. I made myself some eggs and sat down to eat them. I saw a note from Lily that said she was going on a walk. I trust her to find her way back. She will be fine.

Lily's POV

I started my venture into the busy streets of New York. I didn't know where I wanted to go so I just started walking in a random direction. The wind started to pick up a little bit and I did not have a jacket so i started to get a little chilly. My throat felt dry so I went into a Starbucks that was nearby. I ordered just a plain and simple Coffee and took a seat by a window. The sun was hidden by some clouds. One of the workers came over to the counter and said, "Kerry Butler!" Kerry Butler...? Where had I heard that name before? I watched as a woman, probably Kerry, got up and retrieved a drink. I swear I recognized that name. Where is it from? I tried to remember where the heck I heard that name before when the same guy came over and yelled, "Lily Pytel!" I jumped at the sound of my name. He scared me. After I had collected myself, I stood up to grab my drink. I sat back down drink in hand, when I noticed Kerry staring at me. She quickly glanced away when she realized I knew she was watching me. I enjoyed my drink in peace, but every once in a while I would notice Kerry looking at me, deep in thought. I was halfway done with my drink so I decided to go and walk around some more. As I left the building I noticed Kerry gave me one last final look, and I did the same. I couldn't remember when I had heard her name before, and it bugged me. Oh well, I was probably never going to see her again anyways. I stepped outside and the little breeze came back, like a friend saying hello again. I took a left and continued walking.

Elizabeth's POV

I was sitting on the couch watching tv when I got a text from Kerry.

Kerry: Hey, what was the name of that girl that passed out onto you?

Elizabeth: Lily Pytel. Why?

Kerry: I think I just saw her at Starbucks.

Elizabeth: Cool. Does she look like she's okay?

Kerry: Yeah she looks fine. Why? Are you worried?

Elizabeth: No just making sure she is okay.

Kerry: Alright. Well I'll talk to you later.

Elizabeth: Bye.

Kerry: Bye.

I set my phone down and returned my attention to the tv. Henry was lying on his back on my lap. He was staring up at the ceiling and he did not look comfortable. I adjusted him so that he wouldn't hurt himself, but he went right back into the uncomfortable position. "What's wrong with you?" He just looked at me and I laughed. God I love him. My phone started ringing so I went over to the counter to grab it. It was from Lily. That was weird. She never calls me. I answered it and i didn't hear anything for the first ten seconds. I finally decided to break the silence. "Hello?" Then I heard Lily struggling. It sounded like she was fighting somebody or having trouble breathing. "Lily are you okay?" I was beginning to become panicked. Henry sat up alerted. There was more struggles sounds but Lily managed to get something out. "Help me!" Her voice sounded sore, like she had been screaming for a while. Then I heard another voice. "Give me that phone you little brat!" I heard a slap sound and I shriek of pain. "Lily where are you!" I was already grabbing my keys to my car. Then the phone hung up. I never got an answer but I would search all of New York to make sure she is okay.
