Nagising ako ng nasa kama. Madilim parin sa labas nakita ko ang silweta ni Ash sa may glass window. He was still on his long sleeve shirt nasa tenga ang telepono.

"Why don't you just tell me what happened?" He whispered. Frustration and anger run in his voice. "I can't believe you're keeping this from me," he muttered through clenched teeth.

The intensity of his emotions was palpable as he struggled to maintain his composure. The silence that followed only fueled his growing impatience, desperate for answers that seemed to be slipping further away.

"Damn you! I'll find out what happened myself, then!" He turned off the phone and muttered another curse.

Pumikit ako. Tristan's silence is a blessing in disguise. It has temporarily set my mind at ease.
