"Milly."

yeah with milk..

"Milly?"

Noo..

"MILLY!"

I snap and see Briar in front of me.

"Girl, that's the second time you've been spacing out of nowhere since last week. You sure you're okay?" she gave me a worried look.

I shake my head, "I'm fine Bri, Its nothing." I reassure her as students walked behind her taking their seats.

She wanted to say more but she knew well enough to give me space. "Well.. if you say so. Just so you know you can always tell me."

I just nodded.

Theres not a thing I haven't told her except for one.

"Okay everyone, quiet down!" Mrs. Thumbler spoke in front of the class as everyone starts to hush down.

"As you all may know there's a retreat for all Juniors every year. Where we go camping in the late May somewhere far and do fun activities for 3 days." she clapped her hands together. "Well, there's gonna be some changes."

"What!?" One of the student burts out.

"What!! No way it's getting canceled"

"This only happens once in our JUNIOR year!"

Everyone around us started arguing.

Mrs. Thumbler yells, "Enough! No, it's not getting canceled-" I sigh in relief. Turning to look at Briar who was more relieved than I am. "-Seniors are joining also." My head twist at Mrs. Thumbler and the classroom was slowly getting quieter.

She starts to hand forms to the students in the front, taking a sheet before passing it behind them.

"Wait. So if seniors are coming does that mean.." We both stare at each other before giving out a completely different expressions.

"No!" "Yes!"

She looked pretty stoked while I looked pretty done. Why? Just why? This isn't some bad luck anymore, this is now faith. Faith that we will never stop cutting each other's throats until we changed for the better.

"Omg! I can't wait!" She squealed quietly as she took a paper and passed it to the student behind her while I did the same.

My lips curled and my eyes twitch. "Great."

Not only I'm gonna see him, but I'm gonna be spending time with his fugly ass for a whole 3 days!

"Don't worry Milly, just act like my brother doesn't exist" she shrugs giving me an its not that bad expression.

I grinned my teeth, "What do you think I've been doing for the past 3 years?"

Mrs. Thumbler added before sitting on her chair. "Next week is the retreat and I need the permission forms by the end of this week! No permission form no retreat."
