Also, as to why Hyun Ho can seemingly understand others is that she has an earpiece (like the ones in Black Panther with a mix of Quill's cybernetic translator on his neck). Meda also added them to Tau-5's cybernetic enhancements. Just like in the MCU, they have unlimited range and Meda modified them to be intergalactic based on her previous world.

"Can you talk woman?", I asked Iris. "Give me a minute.", she said coming out of her haze. "So the two of you did it already, eh? I'm proud. I'm a proud mama. Now all those sexual tensions in our meetings are gone.", I say wiping away a fake tear. "Oh, shut it you! And put me down!", she said. "Nuh-uh. You'll be wobbly. Trust me.", I smile at her. "Thanks.", she smiled back. "Was it inside or outside?", I smirked once we got on the elevator. "OH COME ON!", she pouted and threw a fit.
I set her down once we arrived in her room. "Fine, fine. But at least tell me if you had fun.", I chuckle. "It....was fun.", she silently said. "Good. Did you know that you introduced him to your parents last night as your boyfriend?", I said making her blush. "Cain said something like that. He said I told everyone", she meekly asked. "Yes. Your parents were delighted. They immediately gave their blessings.", I smiled. "What did Cain say?", she asked me as she stripped. "I'll tell you once I finish bathing and you...finish cleaning yourself up.", I say disappearing from her room.
