I woke up sweating. The bed was comfortable no doubt, but the blankets were thick. I shoved the blanket off me and laid back down. Now I was freezing. I was tired, cold, sweating and it was the middle of the night! Rein on the other hand seemed to be freezing with the tiny blanket on her, not to mention her being on the floor.

I thought of the most reasonable thing to do. I scooped her up and put her beside me, we would both be comfy and she would warm up. And her cold body would warm me up. She wouldn't have to know I put her in the bed, but at least she's warm!

The moment she realized, she woke up. "Thorn? What the..." She backed up, collapsing on the ground where she was sleeping. "Thorn..." I looked at her for a moment, confused on what she was freaking out about, and she just pounced on me. She hugged me tight and I could feel her hand being reached out. She was panting. "Rein? Rein what's-" She released her hand and I could see the blood tripling down her hand and onto her wrist.

"Rein!" I grabbed her arm and examined the stab. "Who.." I looked out the window to see a man out there. He jumped off the window and I immediately looked for him. "Rein, give me something to help you." She sighed and pulled one of her pant legs up and a giant stab covered in bandage wrap was all around her leg. "Rein! Who did this?" She stated, "The same man who just tried to kill you." She was calm but a little anxious and her heart rate was faster than mine.

She quickly ripped off part of the wrap on her leg and put it around her hand. She looked in her closet and put on a pair of gloves. "It's alright! You're fine, i'm fine. Now you have some explaining to do." I looked away, blushing.

"I was sweating, you were cold." She started blushing. "So you just put me beside you?" I laughed. "Whatever!" She gave me her blanket and stole the one I was wearing, plopping down on the floor again.

"There. Now we're both happy." I was disappointed. I just want her to love me.

.......

It was another dream of my soulmate.

Her sleeping perfectly. She was so pretty. She was sleeping on the...

floor...

Rein! But this wasn't her room. This was a white box, no end just blank.

A blank white room. She was just laying on the floor.

She opened her eyes, blank spaces were left there. She looked around, and black spots appeared on the wall. Each second more black dots appeared, until the white room was dark. Her eyes were dark. Swallowed by the void. And I was just a spectator.

A spectator, watching her every move, every pant, every heartbeat. She was scared. This was probably a dream she was having. A large white dot covered her, she started to slip, grasping onto the edge of the large circle and I wish I could have saved her, but I couldn't do anything.

.......

Both me, and Rein woke up terrified. I was scared for my soulmate, she had looked that way too. We both looked at each other, and I put my hand down, gesturing for her to sit next to me. "Rein. Did you dream about anything?" She gave me teary eyes. "It was terrible." I closed my eyes before responding. "Same here." I layed down and she followed. "Can I tell you about it?"

She seemed so unsure of herself, scared, but sad at the same time. "Go ahead." She gave out a small sigh before speaking. "At first..." She seemed to think for a moment, "It was a man, in a blank box. He was sleeping and when he woke up, his eyes weren't there, they were red. A really deep red. And the moment he looked around, black dots were appearing on the walls, until it was black. And you could only see his terrifying red eyes. And then a white dot appeared on the wall and slowly approached the man. He tried running, but his legs wouldn't carry him. He tried to grasp onto the wall of the endless hole but..." She hugged me, scared for the dream and the man inside of it. "Did he..?" She nodded.

I scooped her up and held her close. "I swear on my life. Nobody will ever hurt you."

"But... Who will protect you?"

"You of course."

My warm smile against her worried face.

She must not know it yet, but the man in the dream, was me.
