I slowly opened my eyes, sighing a little at the feeling of my phone buzzing beneath me.

I pulled it from underneath my chest, glaring down at it with squinted eyes.

17 missed calls, Bill's Cell.

I furrowed my brows and sighed heavily, calling him back and putting the phone on speaker. "Bill?" I muttered, shifting onto my back as I settled the phone on my stomach.

"Kane, can we come over? It's an emergency.."

We?

I sighed.

Ed will be here soon.

"...Did something happen?"

The line went dead, and a loud crack came from my window. My brows furrowed, shooting up in bed and looking towards the voice coming from there.

"Open up!"

I got out of bed and pulled open my window, watching as Bill threw his handwarmers at me, and climbed up into my room.

"The shit happened to you?" I stared at him, my lips parting. He had a bruised nose, roughed up hair, and a slit on his eyebrow.

"You think mine is bad?" Bill mumbled, breathing out condensation as he rubbed his arms and shivered, rubbing the snow off of his jacket.

A small grunt came from my window as Tom quickly came in.

He put his hands on his knees. huffing as he looked up at me, linking eye contact with dilated pupils.

"What the fuck!" I remarked, placing my hand on his clenched jaw, where a few scratches were. "Jesus, Kirsty!" He winced, pulling back and stumbling a little.

He had a black eye, a bleeding nose, a busted lip, a huge gash above his eyebrow, and split knuckles.

He stared at some of the stuff on my desk, looking away and sighing.

"He's coming off of some heavy drugs. He's paranoid." Bill muttered, staring at Tom blankly as he came over and wrapped his arms around me, giving me a strangely polite hug that he didn't release me from.

"..I can see that." I mumbled, looking over at Bill as I pushed Tom onto my bed.

Bill huffed, sitting on my carpet as I went and sat in front of him.

"So?" I furrowed my brows. "What happened?"

.  .  .

They started yelling at each other in german. Toms cusses were mostly muffled, but you could tell he was pissed. I couldn't tell who's fault it was.
