K A N E S - P O V
I can't believe he said that.
Was he drunk? possibly high?
Eddie was the person who told me that as long as I never deserted my siblings, I'd never reach her standards. It was hard to anyway.
Was that a lie?
Am I really that much like Nancy?
At least I'm not bipolar. Fuck that, Kirsty. You're fine. He's an alcoholic. He's gonna say stupid shit like that when he drinks.
"You alright?" Tom looked over to me, his hand on my thigh with his thumb gently rubbing it.
"Should have kicked him in the fucking mouth while he was still down. Cruel fucking asshole." I said, resting my head against the window with a deep sigh.
Tom laughed a little, changing gears and driving. Not that long later, his hand left the steering wheel, and he stopped in front of my house.
"Want a hand with them?"
"I wouldn't mind." I nodded and got out.
Tom followed behind me as I nudged the front door open, rubbing the back of my neck.
"Harvey?" I called out.
I saw harvey come down. He tried to act mad, but I knew he was happy to see me. I sighed, pulling him into a hug.
"You know, Tom actually isn't the worst person, Harvey." I raised an eyebrow, pulling back and looking down at him. "He fucked spencer's mother." He looked over to Tom, his face a little hardened.
"Yeah, no surprise in that." I sighed and cupped Harvey's face, my hand leaving his cheek and heading into the kitchen with Tom laughing a little.

There was a small change in Kirsty's mood. I didn't mind it, though. I think it's just been a rough week for her. She's gone through shit lately.
We heard the door swing open, hitting the door with a loud thud before drunken laughter followed as Nancy & Irvine stumbled in.
"Shit," Kirsty sighed, rubbing her face and breathing in softly before turning around and crossing her arms, leaning against the counter.
"Sleeping with two of the Kaulitz boys now, Kirsty?" Irvine started laughing, stumbling all over the place and grabbing Kirsty's arm. She ripped away from him, rolling up her sleeves and turning away to wash the dishes.
"I never slept with Bill, I just always have him over." She mumbled to make me aware as I nodded. She then immediately looked away.
"Oh, good choice! He's handsome, Kirsty!" Nancy grabbed her, giggling.
"You're high." She responded, her eyebrows up and her eyes a little narrowed.
Nancy's smile faded, and she shook her head. "No.. no, I'm not high? What are you talking about? It's just cold outside." She said softly.
Her eyes were bloodshot, and she was talking slowly.
Kirsty turned around and continued to do what she was doing in response. "I'll make lunches for the boys, okay?" Her mother muttered. "You need a break." She continued.
"Mom?" She turned around. "It's 11 at night, mom. Lunch was hours ago."
Nancy itched the back of her neck, clearing her throat. "I just haven't checked the time, Kirst." she whispered. "That doesn't mean i'm high."
"I wonder what you took this time to make your think that you wouldn't be high." She said, shaking her head as she led the boys upstairs.
Her parents were such fuck-ups.
I glared at Nancy and followed behind her while trying to catch up. "Lying is the worst thing someone could do to me."
I cleared my throat, looking away.
Tyler, drug bust, money embezzlement, murder, possession of illegal substances...
"Why is that?"
"I've been lied to my whole life," She put Harvey to bed, his leg slung over the mattress with naked women postered in the walls. She turned off the light, then went over to Lee's room.
He placed him in his crib, pulling the soft blanket over him as she sighed.
"Once someone lies to me, it's hard to re-gain my trust."
I bit my piercing, nodding.
"But hey, I trust you." She smiled a little and walked off.
I looked down, nodding slowly.
