Chapter 20

*Brent's POV*

When Holly fell to the ground from Hayes punching her, I ran to her side immediately. I could hear gasps from the crowd. Some people started shouting thing but one of them struck me.

"She is a attention whore, she deserves that punch for slapping Hayes."

I could feel the anger boil inside me, I walked over to Mahogany who had the microphone. I snatched it off her.

"FYI she is not an attention whore, you're probably shouting it for attention anyways." I said to the girl who shouted the nasty comment. She looked surprised and sad that I stood up for someone she hated, well that's life she just gotta deal with it.

I gave the microphone back to Mahogany and ran over to where Holly was lying.

"Nash! Call the freaking ambulance already!" I shouted. She looked so unconscious. The side of her face was fully red and you could see the knuckle marks on where Hayes hit her.

"Calm down Brent, she will be okay..." Hayes said, unsurely. I just looked at him and glared. He was the one who caused this. She was my best friend, the best friend I only just met. My best friend that I might have feelings for but I'm not too sure yet.

"The convention is over!" Cameron shouted. And instantly a crowd of moans and whines started coming from the crowd.

"It's all Holly's fault!"

"Fuck you Holly for ruining our show!"

"Hey! Stop it! It was Hayes' fault." A girl in black clothes shouted, she looked at me and I looked back at her. I just smiled and payed my attention back to Holly who had blue and black marks starting to grow on the side of her head. I looked at Cody worriedly, I could see tears in her eyes.

Then suddenly the door flew open and a bunch on people came in and took Holly away to the ambulance.

"Onto two of you can come." One of the doctors said.

"Cody and I will go." I said, the doctor nodded and I headed to the ambulance.

- 2 Days later -

I'm waiting... Waiting and waiting until she wakes up. I have no care in the world anymore, I only need her to open her eyes and smile. The only things that could make me happy, even if I only met her awhile ago. I don't know what day it is, I haven't been on my phone. People have been coming in and out, visitors and doctors. I hold her hand everyday wishing she would just look at me.

Maybe I like her maybe I don't, I'm having really weird mixed feelings.

I was just sitting there looking down while holding her hand. Suddenly her hand moved, my head shot up to see her amazing blue eyes look back at me.

"Brent? Where am I? What happened?" Holly asked me confused. She suddenly felt the side fof her head where Hayes punched and she moaned in pain. I was worried, so I called the doctor. They told me to wait outside, I waited...

"What happened? Is she okay?" I asked the doctor as he walked out. He gave me a weak smile.

"She is fine. Nothing wrong with her. You can take her home." The doctor said, smiling.

"Thanks doc." I said. The doctor walked away, I pulled out my phone and dialed Nash's number.

[Nash]
Hey is she okay?

[Me]
She woke up can you come pick us up?

[Nash]
Okay, see you then.

I ended the call and went back inside to where Holly was lying. She gave me a confused face.

"Were you calling Nash?" Holly asked me, I nodded.

"He is coming to pick us up, Holly." I told her, her eyes went wide with fear. I quikly went over to her and hugged her.

"Tell me whats wrong." I said. She shook her head sadly, and wouldn't budge a word. "I can help if you tell me." She took a deep breath and sighed slowly.

"Please don't tell anyone, well I was bullied by Nash, Cam, Taylor, Matt, Carter, Aaron, Johnson, Gilinsky and Shawn. They hurt me, physically and mentally. I changed my whole identity, I even got a tattoo." She said, she lifted up her arm which had an infinity sign tattooed. "I was friends with them for 4 days until Johnson cheated on me, I started cutting because I thought he was actually the one. When he kissed that girl I took it hard, I actually believed my life was good. I ran away, both my parents were dead anyways so no one cared. I changed my whole identity again, so now it has landed me here. My sisters old bully punched me and bullied Cody. My life is screwed." She mumbled and started crying. I was surprised, I never thought those guys were ever mean to someone. She started to cut because of them, I don't think I can forgive them anymore.

"Hey, I'm he-" Nash trailed off as he saw Holly crying.

"Look, you've caused enough trouble can you just go outside for a minute?" I said standing up, he just nodded and walked out the room.

"I thought I loved him." Holly whispered, still sobbing in my arms.
