Once Shadow and Amy were outside, he saw that the coast was clear and he proceeded to grab her hand and lead her to the side of the bakery where no one would be able to see them.

"Hey you're grabbing me kinda rough"

"I thought that's how you liked it~" he smirked causing her to blush.

"In bed, not in public..." her back was against the wall as he stood in front of her.

"Speaking of bed...am I allowed back into the bedroom?" He lifted her chin, she smirked as she moved her head away.

"Nope"

"And why is that?"

"Keeping a small secret is one thing but to keep a secret like this is another, and I don't really appreciate it" she crossed her arms.

"Okay I get, I should've told you everything from the beginning, I'm sorry.... what can I do to make it better?"

"Hmm...I'll tell you what, if you come over and help me out with Emi, then I'll let you back into the bedroom"

"Why? Was Emi rowdy this morning?"

"No, but I know it would be a lot easier to take care of her if you were there, you're her favorite uncle after all..."

"Hmm" Shadow was contemplating it, he loved his niece but babysitting her could be tiresome but then Amy leaned in and moved her arms around his neck and got on her toes.

"And if you agree, I'll let you punish me however you like once we get home...I know you want that~" she whispered.

She was right of course, she knew him, she knew what he liked and she knew how to get him riled up.

"Rose..." he once again lifted her chin and they kissed, he moved his right hand to the back of her head to deepen the kiss and placed his left hand on the back of her waist to pull her body closer to him.

As the kiss started to get too heated, he pulled away, not wanting to risk doing something so inappropriate in public "Fine, I'll come over".

She smiled "then all shall be forgiven" Shadow looked at her for a moment before speaking again.

"Since I said I wouldn't keep secrets like from you anymore, I wanted to let you know that I still don't plan on telling my commander about you"

"...I see" He already explained why he didn't want his commander to know about her so she couldn't argue with him about his decision. "Just please be careful around that guy.."

"You don't need to worry about me Rose, I'll have everything under control"

"Promise?"

"Promise" He cupped her face and pulled her in for another deep keep but soon was interrupted by a gust of wind followed by a familiar voice.

"Well Shadow, this doesn't look like talking to me"

"Sonic! Don't just pop up like that!"

"Sorry Ames, didn't mean to interrupt your make out session"

"So leave then"

"Calm down Shadow, no need to be so hostile. But I will say that doing this in such a public place could be risky don't you think?"

"No one can see us and you only found us because you already knew where we were"

"Hehe, true" Sonic scratched the back of his head awkwardly.

Shadow checked his wristwatch and turned to Amy once again "I have to get going now, I'll see you after work"

"Alright but...would you like a "kiss" before you go?"
