*Hours earlier*Sally came back to her badly injured brother to patch him up.
"So how did all of this start exactly?"
Elias let out a frustrated sigh from the reminder of what had happened to him just moments before.
*moments earlier*
Elias walked into his father's office unannounced, not caring if he was disturbing him. "Alright old man, you kept me here for a day already and you haven't even told me why you needed to talk to me in the first place."
His father sighed and put his pen down as he was writing documents and sat up straight. Looking directly into his son's eyes. "You're getting married."
Elias scoffed at his father's words. "Just stop with all this marriage crap already, you should know by now that I'm not even marriage material."
"It's not about being marriage material, it's about image. I've said this a million times already, but you just don't seem to understand."
"Oh I understand very well, you're the one who can't expect that I don't want to be a part of that traditional royalty bullshit."
Maximillian let out a sigh of disappointment. "Why must you always go against me? I have always expected more from you, from my own son, but you just keep letting me down and you seem to be enjoying the fact that you are."
Elias smirked which only caused him to frustrate his father but Maximilian knew how to wipe that smirk off his face. "You're not giving me much of a choice here son." He paused. "You will be arranged to be married."
"What!? Okay, old man you have completely lost your mind. There is no way in hell you can make me do something like that."
Maximilian looked at his son with his rage starting to grow. "Elias, I'm telling you now, do not go against me with this. It will not end well for you."
Elias knew what he meant and it hadn't been the first time his father put his hands on him but he did it a lot more often ever since his mother died.
"Fuck. You." He spat out before turning away and Maximilian knew it was his way of saying 'no' but he was prepared for it.
Before Elias could step out of the office, two guards entered the room, blocking his way. "Hey, move it."
But the guards didn't budge.
"They don't obey you, they could but you're the one not wanting that to happen."
"Tsk."
"Men, hold him down."
Elias was shocked by what he had just said and quickly angered by the two guards grabbing ahold of him. "Hey! Don't touch me!" Elias was quick to fight them off. "Hold him down with any means necessary."
The two guards obeyed their commands and fought back against the prince and did what they could to get him on his knees.
After a few back and forth, the guards had Elias on his knees facing his father while holding onto his arms.
Maximilian stepped closer to his son while rolling up his sleeves. "Now son, whether you like it or not, you will learn to listen, not just as your father but as your King."
Elias was giving his father a hateful glare as he watched him walk over to his many golf clubs and pick one up.
'Shit.'
Elias knew what was coming and it came fast.
With every hit, every swing, every painful contact. He only thought of one person.
