It's been two weeks already and Shadow had to leave in an hour and what was he doing?

"Agent Shadow! We are departing in less than an hour, where the hell are you!"

"You can relax Commander Joyce, I'm on my way"

"You better be or you'll!-" Shadow hung up the phone before he could start yelling at him.

"Geez, that guy sounds like a jerk" She got up and walked over to her drawer to put on a pair of panties and then grabbed one of Shadow's shirt to cover herself.

"Yeah he is, well it looks like I better get going" he looked at himself in the mirror to make sure he didn't look improper before the both of them walked to the front door.

Before leaving he turned to her "Hey, if Sonic dose anything that makes you uncomfortable or harms you in any way, I give you permission to kill him" she giggled at his words and said "okay" not taking it seriously.

"I'll see you when I get back" he smirked.

"I'll be here~" she flirted back.

Once he left she flopped herself onto the couch. 'Heh, that sure was one way to give me a "kiss" goodbye'

She looked around her living room and smiled. 'This is my home, my sanctuary, my safe place.... A new start for.... Everything'
