Shadow knocked at the door in front of him before it swung open and there was his niece.

"Uncle Shadow!"

"Hey Emi"

"You're just in time, Aunt Amy was about to make some yummy food!" Emi dragged him inside and into the kitchen.

"Great I'm starving"

"Then you would want to help if you're starving, right?" Amy asked.

She was wearing a pair of track shorts and a plain black shirt that was too big for her, but considering that it was in fact Shadow's shirt, it would be too big on her.

Shadow smirked at the sight of her "Heh, of course"

Once the food was almost finished Amy sent Emi to wash up before dinner and when she left Shadow spoke. "You know, if you keep wearing my clothes people with start getting suspicious"

"People won't know it's yours, it's not like it says "property of Shadow the Hedgehog" in big bold letters"

'Heh, That doesn't sound too bad actually' he thought.

"And I know how much you like seeing me in your clothes.." she turned to him with a smile.

"Oh? Did you wear this for me then?"

Amy then got closer and put her arms around his neck "Hmm...maybe I did, maybe I didn't, who knows..." Shadow smirked as he moved his hands to the back of her waist and pulled her into a kiss.

"I have a feeling that you did"

Before Amy could say anything, Shadow lifted her up and placed her on a countertop, and started nibbling around her neck. "Shadow, we can't do this here, Emi could walk in on us any minute"

"Rose, you know that I'm careful so relax~" he continued kissing around her neck and moved his hand under her shirt to feel her more.

"Ah~ Com'on k-knock it off, can't you wait till we get home?"

"Rose, you know neither of us wants to wait...."

"Shadow...." She placed her hands on each side of his cheeks and lifted his head "I want this as much as you do but..... I also love seeing you suffer~" she hopped off the countertop and began to set up the table.

"Rose, you can be really cruel, you know that?" Shadow came up behind her, practically pressing his body against hers.

"Yes...I do, I also know that you like it sometimes, now help me set up the table and I might stop with the teasing.."

Shadow smirked at her before helping and soon Emi came out. "Wow, dinner looks yummy auntie Amy"

"Well let's eat then, your uncle is getting really hungry" Shadow's ears twitched as he knew what she really meant but couldn't say anything due to Emi being right there.

So they continue to eat dinner peacefully with Shadow and Amy having a conversation. "So when do you think Rouge and Knuckles will be back from the hospital?"

"Maybe tomorrow, or the next day"

"Will you stay with us till then uncle Shadow?"

"I don't think he can sweetie, he wouldn't have a place to sleep, and I know that he hates sleeping on the couch..." Amy answered while emphasizing the word hate, Shadow gave her a look before Emi spoke up again.

"Well, why can't he sleep with you?"

Amy choked on her drink as Shadow smirked at her as that was his true intention all along "Emi, two people can't sleep in the same bed"
