"UNCLE CHUCK!"

"SONNY BOY! I know I felt a familiar wind."

Sonic let go of his uncle. "What are you doing in Merica Uncle Chuck?"

"Ah, just doing some light traveling, and you?"

"I'm here with Amy."

"Amy? My it's been so long since I've seen that little rascal, where is she? I'd love to see her again."

"Oh she's dealing with some family issues right now, but we'll meet up in a bit."

"Ah well that's a relief, Robert has been quiet lately I've begun to worry about him. Do you know what's going on?"

"I do but I promised to keep it a secret, sorry Uncle."

"Don't sweat it, kid, I understand." He waved off. "So how's Sally?"

"She's great, I'll tell her you said hi."

"Hehe, thank you, and how are your two other friends?"

"Knuckles and Tails? They've been great, Tails is still working at his company but still has a bad sleeping habit and Knuckles just had his second kid, it's a boy and guess who the godparents are?" Sonic ended with a smug smile that gave his uncle the answer to his question.

"Aha! Congratulations Sonny! And give my congrats to Sally as well." Charles patted his back. "Oh um well, the godmother isn't Sally, it's actually Amy."

"Amy? Well that does make a lot more sense, she is much closer to them and I have seen the way she would handle kids back then, she's a natural."

"Heh, yeah Mom said the same thing too but we've been taking care of the kids lately and it's been great."

Charles let out a slight chuckle after hearing his nephew and Sonic thought it was a bit strange. "What? What's so funny?"

"Nothing Sonny, just the way you said it, it almost sounded like you and Amy were the ones married and it just made me remember when you kids were a lot younger and Amy would always say how you two were going to get married and whatnot, it was adorable."

Sonic had a blushful smile as he scratched the back of his head- remembering how Amy was so attracted to him as a kid. "Yeah, she did say that a lot huh?"

"Oh yeah, I remember when you would slow down for her whenever she would chase after you." Charles ended with a sigh.

"... I... I never did that." Sonic said shyly earning a confused look from his uncle. 'He's still denying it? After all this time? Heh, he's still shy about I see.'

"Sure you didn't nephew, how long are you planning on sticking around?"

"Whenever Amy's ready to leave I guess. What about you?"

Charles smiled with a sigh. "I'm not sure, might leave tomorrow, might leave in another week... if I still got time."

Sonic raised a brow. "If you still got time? What do you mean by that? You got some business here or something?" He ended with a sly smile at his unrealistic theory.

"Heh, no, it was nothing, Sonny." Charles smiled.

"Hm alright, So where are ya staying at?"

"Oh, I'm just renting out a trailer not too far from here."

"A trailer? Why? I'm sure Rob can let you stay at his place for a while so you wouldn't have to stay at a crummy trailer."

"Oh trust me boy he has offered but after finding out that he's in the dog house, I just didn't want to get into all that awkward tension."
