"Is there a problem, San?"
Mingi immediately asked as soon as he reached San's desk.
"There's something weird with my computer."
"Weird how?"
"I've finished my task, so I shut down my computer since I intended to join those busy in the hall for the event. But a few minutes after shutting it down, my computer suddenly started playing music. But the screen remained off. When I tried to turn on the screen to stop the music, it refused to turn on." San pointed for Mingi, indicating his computer on the desk that continued to play music. Fortunately, San had last used low volume when playing mp3 on the computer, so this malfunction didn't disturb other employees in the room.
"Let me see." Mingi began to fiddle with the square object with his bare hands. Various screwdrivers were already available in his pocket, in case he needed them to fix hardware.
"By the way, where's Yunho?" Mingi asked between his activities of fixing office property.
"He's doing a general check-up."
"Wasn't he back earlier?" Hongjoong said.
"Oh? Where is he now?" Mingi wondered.
"On an expedition to the CEO's office." Kim Gunhak answered from his desk without shifting his gaze from his laptop screen. He was busy working on the final paper for his dissertation. For his Ph.D., he would soon earn the title of Doctor once he completed the defense.
"Oh, really? Thank you, Sir," Mingi said.
Shortly after, Yunho arrived with several documents in his hands. He placed them on the boss's desk. "Here you go, Sir, all signed."
The head of the communication division looked puzzled. "Really?"
"Yes, Sir. Is there something wrong with it?" Yunho tried to speak politely despite still feeling irritated.
"Not wrong, per se. Just odd. Usually, even if I'm the one asking for a signature, the secretary would just say to leave the files with her. They would be signed later, then retrieved a few hours later or the next day. But earlier, you—ah, you met with Mr. Kim Jongin?"
Yunho nodded. "Yes, Sir."
"Stepping into his office? Face to face with him? Speaking to him directly?!"
"Yes, Sir, why? Is it really that strange?"
"Jung Yunho, think about this. For several years you've worked here, you've never spoken to him directly, right? Yeah, you know he's a super busy executive and quite challenging to meet? Talking to him comes at a high cost. Until now, he's used to talking to me, but that's normal because I'm the head of the division. But you?"
"Yes, Sir, I understand. Even I find it hard to believe that I faced him directly earlier. Seeing his face up close and hearing his voice so clearly." Yunho tried his best not to show that he felt offended, although in reality, he felt a bit.
"See? So why would he be willing to spare his time just to see you?"
"I don't know, maybe he likes me? Because he kept looking at me and smiling at me. He even offered me to sit down and have tea with him until the meeting time arrived." Yunho laughed shyly, blushing a bit like a virgin girl. Kim Jongin is handsome, wealthy, educated, and has a high position. Who wouldn't fall for him? Maybe Yunho is not an exception? If using the term 'fall in love' doesn't sound too excessive for him.
