"How was the surprise? Did it work?"

Yunho hadn't even had a chance to put down his bag yet, but San immediately pressed him with a question.

"Well, what do you expect?"

"Let me guess. Did he cry?" Hongjoong chimed in, joining the conversation.

"What else do you think?"

"Exactly, what else could he do besides cry?" San laughed at his statement, which was just stating the facts.

"Don't be like that, San. Nevertheless, you know, aside from that, Mingi is very strong," Hongjoong added.

"I can't deny that. Mingi is very strong. And he loves Yunho very much. So much so that my friend can live happily because of him and with him." San smiled at his last sentence, which Yunho reciprocated with a similar sentiment.

Comfortably settling into his soft chair, Yunho turned on the computer in front of him and began his work.

"Yes, of course, I can, love. Don't worry. I will do my job well."

San and Yunho heard Hongjoong talking to himself. Although they were sure their friend wasn't on the phone at the moment.

"Hyung, who are you talking to?" Yunho asked puzzled at Hongjoong, who was seated at the desk in front of him.

Hongjoong laughed loudly. "Could you hear that? Sorry. I was mumbling to myself after reading a message from Seonghwa asking me to pick up the triplets from school this afternoon because he has to work at the hospital."

San nodded in understanding.

"You were clearly sitting right in front of me, how could I not hear you?" Yunho protested, only to be met with Hongjoong's laughter.

The three of them then continued their work while chatting occasionally. Just like they usually did as part of their daily routine in their office.

San talked about how Wonjin, the eldest, was very calm at kindergarten. He learned and played like other children. Not misbehaving. Not teased or teasing. Just calm.

Dahyun, his youngest, can now sing well. Her voice is as loud as Wooyoung's. She's like Wooyoung but shrunk and turned into a girl.

Hongjoong talked about how Minjoo became a big sister who likes to give in and looks like a future sister who will sacrifice for her two younger siblings, while Minkyu is the type of brother who loves to tease his little sister until Suyun cries.

But Minkyu and Suyun could become the closest siblings you've ever seen, while Suyun is the type of sibling who depends on her two older siblings, perhaps because she's the youngest.

Yunho, who doesn't have children, doesn't have stories like that to share. So he just told how Mingi was sick today and requested to take a day off. As usual, he always experiences severe nausea every time Yunho is pregnant. So he has to rest at home until he feels better.

Because if he insists on forcing himself to come to the office, it's useless. His health condition will disrupt work, as well as inconvenience and trouble everyone around him.

Fortunately, Yunho and Mingi had stocked up on a lot of fruits in the fridge and on the dining table in case Mingi craved them again like before--more precisely, Yunho was the one who was more diligent in buying them because he was the first to know about his pregnancy--so Mingi could help himself without bothering Yunho.

Without requiring Yunho to take care of him at home and have to request the same day off.

In the afternoon, Miss Cho asked Hongjoong to do an additional task, overtime. So it required him to go home later. No one else could replace Hongjoong because he was the only one who could do this.

He was confused about how he would pick up his three children from elementary school if this happened, while he had promised Seonghwa. Jeonghwa noona couldn't be relied upon either because she was also busy taking care of her own children.

Fortunately, Yunho, who witnessed it, immediately volunteered. That he was willing to pick up the triplets from his school.

So that's what he's doing now after work.

"Uncle Yunho!" The three kids exclaimed simultaneously as soon as they saw Yunho, who had been waiting quite a while at the school gate. They raced to him to greet one of their favorite uncles. Their unity made them reach Yunho's front at the same time.

Yunho squatted down and laughed with them as they laughed while hugging him.

"Have you been waiting long?" Minjoo asked, showing her concern. For God's sake, she's only seven years old to ask such a question to an adult. What about other kids? They would only talk about themselves.

Yunho smiled and ruffled Minjoo's hair. "No, I just arrived," he lied.

"Uncle, I miss you so much!" Minkyu exclaimed.

"Suyun too! Suyun too!" The youngest didn't want to be left out.

Yunho ruffled both of their heads affectionately. "I miss all of you too, kids."

Only Minkyu's hair was successfully messed up, while Minjoo, whose hair was tied in a ponytail, was safe, as was Suyun, whose hair was tied in cute pigtails.

Seonghwa was very happy to do something with his daughters' hair. He would give them crowns if it didn't seem odd for elementary school students to wear them to school.

"Piggyback!" Minkyu requested, already clinging to Yunho's back.

"Suyun too! Suyun too!"

Yunho chuckled softly before granting his nephews' request. He then carried Minkyu piggyback style and carried Suyun koala style. And rose to stand up carefully, afraid of hurting these kids.

"Does Minjoo want to be carried too?" Yunho offered.

Minjoo shook her head. "No, uncle. I'll just walk."

"Okay." Yunho began holding Minjoo's small hand in his right hand. "Hold on tight," he said to the kids on his back.

"Ready!"

They hugged Yunho tightly, pressing against his stomach.

"Er... Suyun, can you loosen your hug a bit? Uncle is having a hard time breathing."

"Oh my, Suyun, be careful, you could hurt Uncle Yunho!" Minjoo warned her younger sister.

Suyun giggled softly. "Sorry..." then loosened her grip a little. Yes, Yunho himself had just asked them to strengthen their grip. But what he meant was not as strong as Suyun's. She was really strong like both of her parents. "How's that, uncle? Is this enough?"

"Smart kid."

Then Yunho and Minjoo walked to the nearby bus stop.
