"We need these large screens back in the company museum. So, Mr. Jung Yunho, could you move them over there? You’re the one assigned to that task, right?" Miss Cho instructed. Yunho swallowed hard upon hearing this.
It felt like déjà vu for him. It reminded him of the time when Mr. Kim had ordered him to move all those TVs from the museum to his office division. Yunho could also guess what would happen next. Miss Cho would have Yunho running around all day, making him so exhausted that he’d feel numb and powerless.
"I'm sorry, Miss Cho, but this kind of task isn't suitable for Yunho in his late stages of pregnancy. You see? He’s already struggling just walking daily. How could you ask him to move heavy items to a different building?" San interjected, speaking up in the middle of the conversation between his friend and boss.
"Oh my, how could I forget? Sorry, Mr. Jung. I’ve been out of town for seven days and forgot a lot of things, especially since I can't see your belly from this angle, covered by Mr. Choi San's big frame."
"Oh, it's okay, boss. I understand."
"In that case, continue your work in front of the computer. But who will move these screens, then?"
"Don’t worry. I’ll handle it," San volunteered to help.
"Really, Mr. Choi? Can you manage that? You’re not too busy with your own work, are you?"
"No, I’m quite relaxed, boss." San glanced at Yunho and winked. Yunho smiled broadly at that.
"Alright then. I’ll head down first and wait for you there, okay?"
"Yes, Miss!"
After the boss left, Yunho let out a huge sigh of relief.
"Thank you so much, San. I owe you one."
"Yes, you do. It’s not free. You’ll have to repay me somehow."
"Eh? What do you want me to give you?" Yunho asked, puzzled.
San laughed. "I was just joking! Oh, come on. What could I possibly expect from someone as pregnant as you?"
"San!" Yunho protested, annoyed. His increasingly round face combined with his irritated expression made a very endearing combination, causing San to laugh uncontrollably.
"Alright, alright. I’ll get on with the boss's orders. You stay here. Hongjoong hyung, take care of Yunho. Make sure Junghwan doesn’t come out here."
Yunho was about to protest again, but San quickly moved away to get the TV. Damn. Yunho wasn’t so weak that he needed to be looked after by Hongjoong.
"Be patient, Yunho. Take deep breaths. Yes, like that. Exhale slowly. Good. You should start practicing breathing if you want to go through natural childbirth."
"Thank you, hyung. I’ll prepare for it as soon as possible."
"It’s no problem. You know? Seonghwa also practiced for days, and I occasionally helped him at home. Oh, but he ended up needing a C-section because the positions of the second and third babies changed before delivery."
"If Seonghwa hyung had really gone through natural childbirth, maybe your children wouldn’t be in the same order."
"That’s true. Suyun could have been born first and been the eldest. But who knows? We don’t even know which of the triplets was conceived and developed first."
Hongjoong shared many past experiences, and Yunho listened carefully because he needed all the important information to learn and apply it to his own experience later.
