The dream

LOUIE's POV (tee hee)

(Dream)

I woke up and relized I was in a field.

I sat up and rubbed my eyes to make sure where I was was real.

Yep. It is.

I stood and brushed off my red jeans.

I started to get an uneasy fealing and my feet carried me onto a concrete path.

I kept walking until I saw a figure ahead of me about thirty feet.

I squinted and relized it was Riley.

Her blonde hair was flowing behind her and she was walking towards me with her blue eyes locked on something behind me. She had a cream colored dress on that was flowy and she was barefoot.

"Riley?", I asked as she approached me.

She ignored me and kept walking until her face was inches from mine.

Oh my god.

Is she going to kiss me?

She looks up at me with saddness in her eyes and whispers something I can barely make out.

"Sorry.", She whispered.

"For what?". I ask confused.

She shook her head and walked around me and behind me.

I turn around and my eyes go wide.

Shes walking towards a cliff!

A cliff!

"Riley! What are you doing!", I yelled after her. For some reason my feet won't move. I need to go after her.

My feet won't move!

"I'm helping you. Don't sugarcoat it Lou, I know I was just in the way of you and the rest of them. I'll just put you out of your misery.",she said and my heart dropped. She was going to jump.

"Riley! Stop! Your not in the way! I like you! Maybe more! Yeah! I love you Riley! Please don't do this! I love you", I whispered the last part and she was at the edge turned around to look at me.

"How can you love me? Why am I always in the way?! Goodbye Lou. Have a good life.", She said and turned around and jumped off the cliff.

Now my feet choose to move.

I ran to the edge and saw nothing.

Then I saw a bright light and I heard my name being called.

"Lou! Lou!", It was in the sky.

I looked up and I saw Riley.

Thats when I woke up.

Riley was skaking me.

"Lou! Your awake! I was so worried you were screaming and y-you were wiggling around then you screamed again and woke up. Are you okay?!", She asked and I couldn't help it. I hugged her.

She seemed surprised but hugged me back. It felt like it was only us. Nobody else. I want her to feel safe in my arms. Just like how I feel safe in hers.

I just don't want to make a move yet. I will believe me, but right now I just want to enjoy being in her arms.

"Please don't scare me like that again. Do you want to talk about the dream?", she asks and I freeze.

"Uuhh well uh no, not really.", I don't wan ger to know I dreamed that she jumped off a cliff, or that I told her I love her.

"Okay, now get dressed. I have a football game.", she says and walks out the door but not before she gives me a kiss on my cheek.

After the door closes I reach up and touch where her lips have just been.

I smiled and got up to go have brekfast.
