Family Dinner

"Park Jihyo get your ass down here " Jeongyeon yelled loud enough for her neighbours to file a complaint. Luckily it was only Mr and Mrs. Park, otherwise people would have assumed there were two vicious dogs in the neighborhood.

" Yahhh...why are you yelling at me?" Jihyo came running down the steps in the backyard to where Jeongyeon stood.

She slowed her pace when she looked at what Jeongyeon was holding.

"Did you touch my pancake batter?" Jeongyeon raised an eyebrow at Jihyo who squirmed uncomfortable. Then she showed her pearly white teeth, a pure Jihyo style escape mechanism when she knew she had been caught.

"Yaah..... You are dead Thomas....." Jeongyeon left the batter on the table and chased Jihyo around the backyard.

Momo walked in with Sana in her arms to witness her two best friends running around the backyard throwing punches.

"Please tell me Jihyo didn't touch the pans and pots" Momo asked Tzuyu who was sitting on the patio enjoying the scene a little too much.

"Unnie did." Tzuyu laughed a little when Jihyo was almost caught by Jeongyeon.

"Great. Why won't she learn." Momo mumbled out a statement.

Sana chuckled. She had witnessed this scene way too many times to understand that Jihyo probably might have offered a helping hand and screwed up big time.

"What did she do this time ?" Sana asked Chaeyoung who was grilling the meat which her Oppa asked her to look after while she went to punch Jihyo.

"Unnie put salt in the batter. But the can opened accidentally and it fell into the batter." Chaeyoung explained shrugging.

"Oh god. Alright, Chae can you help me peel some potatoes? There is still time and we can fix it." Sana being the mature one offered and little Chae nodded understandingly.

"Baby...." Sana looked around for Momo and found her watching her friends run around along with Tzuyu on the patio while they shared a bag of chips. They were laughing and encouraging them.

"Hirai Momo... " Momo spilled the chips she held and stood up straight.

"Yes baby." She walked straight towards her wife who had her hands on her hips with a pissed off expression.

" You better not burn that meat on the grill or I will make Jeongyeon beat the shit out of you." She threatened her wife.

"You..wouldn't do that to me right?" Momo asked hesitating.

"You want to try me" Sana raised an eyebrow challengingly.

"Nope. The meat. Right? Gotcha" Momo quickly made way towards the grill.

"Hey you two. Cut it out." Mama P was right on time as Sana was about to call out for the "children" running around.

"Mama P , Ji put salt in the batter. You know how many potatoes I scrapped for it?" Jeongyeon asked her friend who still spotted the awkward smile.

"Park Jihyo. You can't cook for life and yet you manage to ruin food. Go on peel the potatoes. Tzuyu you too. " Mama P looked at Tzuyu who looked like a deer caught in the headlight.

"Why me Mama P?" She asked but still obeyed

"Well you should have thought about it before you sat there and enjoyed it." Mama P points her finger at the younger one accusingly.

Chaeyoung snickered behind, which made Tzuyu attack her and this time Momo was quick to stop them.

"Kids" Papa P exclaimed as he sat the cooler down which had their drinks for the evening.
