Hide and Seek

Minhyuk had been staying under his father's protection for the last couple of weeks until the investigation dies down. He was livid to hear that his father's attempt to kill Mina failed as well. He suspected major involvement of the military but he was afraid to talk to his father about it as they were not in a good term right now

His father thinks he is a coward for letting go of Mina in the first place. He blamed Minhyuk for not keeping Jackson from escaping. As he paced in the basement of his father's old gang headquarters which nobody knew, Yeri walked in.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Minhyuk asked angrily.
She wasn't supposed to be there.

"Chill. No one followed me." Yeri replied casually as she sat opposite to her brother.

"Did you get any information?" He asked sighing.

"Well it depends on how you consider it. I went to meet your sweet ex wife." Yeri replied.

"What did that bitch say?" Minhyuk asked gritting his teeth.

"Nothing much. She wasn't really jolly to see me. But I think I can help you somehow." Yeri added looking at her brother keenly.

"How?" Minhyuk asked raising an eyebro.

"You never really listen to me. If you had listened when I said to treat Nayeon carefully, she would have still been your wife. But....." Yeri chuckled.

"Cut the crap Yeri. How the fuck are you going to help me out of this mess? Just tell me that." Minhyuk snarled at his sister.

"Geez...alright. When I went to see her, I saw a body guard. You know a handsome one. He looks like he would give up information if asked nicely. I mean very nicely...." Yeri smirked as she replied.

"Oh...." Minhyuk thought about it for a while.

"Yeah....so I am going give it a try." Yeri replied while looking at her nails.

"Besides you are of no use right now. You better not show your face to Appa. He is not so pleased by the mess you created." Yeri added

"I am well aware of that. He didn't even let me use a phone. I am literally trapped in this place with a bunch of idiots." He said looking at the men standing at the door for his protection.

"Don't bite me when I say you did it yourself. You knew Mina was trouble the moment she came in." Yeri chides.

"I should have killed that bitch earlier." Minhyuk paced again.

"Well you didn't. So now we suffer along with you." Yeri pointed out.

"I don't understand how she escaped from a powerful attack like that." Minhyuk was confused.

"Me neither but Appa is looking into it." Yeri responded.

At Mun mansion.

Eric Mun had invited a special guest to his house that day.

"Welcome, Commander Kwan. It's been a long time since we met." Eric stood up to greet his friend.

"Oh c'mon. What's with the formalities?" The aged man dressed in a suite walked towards Eric Mun and hugged him, patting his back.

"I am relieved that you are here." Mun responded once they seperated from the hug.

"Trouble in paradise?" Commander Kwang asked curiously.

"More or like devil in paradise." Eric Mun replied sighing.

"I heard things. What can I do ?" Commander Kwang straightened his posture and looked at his friend.

"I want you to help me find the people behind all this. I suspect there is a strong connection from the military. That's why I called you." Mun explained the situation.

"Alright. Let me see what I can do." Commander Kwan nodded his head understandingly.

Jihyo was having her breakfast as she watched over the CCTV surveillance visuals from the location where Kai has been kept. As she sipped her coffee, she noticed something in the visuals.

There are several cars pulling next to the facility and gun shots being fired. It was like a war zone. A few masked men jumped out of the vans and shot at the camera.The camera went out a few seconds later. Jihyo quickly pulled her radio and frantically dialled her team members over the facility.

"Manny....Manny....what's happening? Can you hear me....?". She could hear guns blazing in the background.

"Agent Thomas....we are....being ...attacked.....we need backup....there's a lot of them." The man on the other line responded.

"Shitt....they came prepared...." Jihyo heard from the radio.

She quickly dialled Bambam from her phone.

"Thomas......it's our men.....someone betrayed...." She heard the last words from the radio and the line went static.

She tried every angle of the camera with Dahyun but couldn't find any. The radio chimed again.

"Thomas.....they got him....." The radio went silent again with a gun shot. She heard a laugh. Something told her that she is all too familiar with it.

When the team reached the facility it was a complete disaster. Jihyo and Jeongyeon walked through the rubble and searched for their fellow mates. She found a few of them dead.

Commander Ming was present in the location as they were closer to the facility. His men took care of rescue services but the place looked like a hurricane went through.

Jihyo removed the cloth from one of the dead bodies. She swallowed hard when she found Manny. Shot dead in his head. Jihyo closed her eyes gripping the clothe tightly in her fist. Jeongyeon placed a hand on the fallen soldiers chest. They were buddies back in the training days. She felt rage envelope her.

"We have new playes in town." Bambam walked over to them along with Commander Ming. They all stood in attention.

"Commander." They saluted him respectfully.

"At ease soldiers. Aahh...this is something I didn't expect." He looked around the place was a mess. Four soldiers died.

"Neither did we sir." Jihyo mentioned holding Manny's name tag.

"There is a leak. You all better fix it before I lose more of my men. This isn't your personal vengeance anymore. Get them killed, no mercy." Commander Ming's authoritative voice made the soldiers shiver inside.

"No mercy." They said in unison.
