Puppy Trouble

Jeongyeon got a much needed off day and she decided to spend it with her family. They had been all over the town collecting evidence against Commander Kwan. He still hasn't found out that the file was missing. But in a matter of time he will start striking back before that they needed to find everything to lock him down.

Jeongyeon groaned when a wet tongue licked her face.

"Kaya...stop licking. Let me sleep..." Jeongyeon tried to move the dog away from her face. After a few seconds another tongue started licking her. This time it was a different puppy.

"Butter....oh come on." Jeongyeon gave up and sat on her bed muttering.

"You two are not supposed to get on the bed." Jeongyeon scolded the two pets. They just looked at her and tilted their heads in a cute way.

"Great. Now I am talking to dogs. Where is your mommy?" She asked them like they were going to answer.

Jeongyeon stood up and stretched. She walked towards Tzuyu's room and found her sleeping peacefully inside. Chaeyoung wasn't in the room. Jeongyeon frowned.

She quickly pulled her phone out and was about to call Chaeyoung when she saw a message from her sister saying that she will be spending the night at Mina's. Jeongyeon smiled. She will tease Chaeyoung later.

Jeongyeon walked downstairs to cook breakfast. The dogs followed her around. She is not going to lie having the dogs have helped Tzuyu with her anxiety and nervousness. Even though she didn't agree to get two dogs, by looking at Kaya she knew why Tzuyu picked her.

Kaya is a very quiet dog. Their personalities match very well and Tzuyu insisted on getting Butter as well because they were mother and daughter. Poor Tzuyu almost cried when they said they have to split the mother and daughter if she wants to take Kaya alone. Jihyo had no other option to get her both.

"Get a puppy they said it will be fun they said...who's gonna walk them.. who's gonna clean them...your mommy is sleeping and you guys need to do the business... c'mon off you go...do your thing .." Jeongyeon let the dogs out for their morning run.

Jeongyeon prepared the breakfast quickly and finished cleaning. She kept a plate ready for Tzuyu when she wakes up. Finally she decided to catch some fresh air and walked outside.

"Kaya..... Butter...." She called the dogs and only Butter came running towards her.

"Where is Kaya?" She asked Butter scratching the little ones ears.

"Kaya....." Jeongyeon called again. But nothing. She picked Butter up and held her in her arms. She looked everywhere. Kaya was nowhere to be found. Panic set in Jeongyeon's head.

She picked up her phone and dialed Jihyo.

"You better be dead to wake me up this early Jeong." Jihyo groaned through the phone as she picked up.

"Okay...I would probably die...Kaya is missing." Jeongyeon said nervously.

"For the love of God Jeongyeon. I said stay away from the pups means stay away. Which part of that didn't get through your head." Jihyo scolded.

"Wait. I am coming." Jihyo muttered and disconnected the call.

Few minutes later the Park house door opened and Jihyo walked out wearing her pajamas and shoes.

Jeongyeon was still searching for the dog in the backyard when Jihyo joined her.

"You are dead Jeongie." Jihyo snickered behind Jeongyeon.

"Don't I know that. Just help me find it. Dammit." Jeongyeon held Butter closer to her and the puppy squirmed.

"Let her down. Maybe she can find her mom." Jihyo suggested.

"No I am not letting her down. What if she runs away too? Tzuyu would kill me." Jeongyeon wasn't having any of that.

Jihyo sighed and walked inside getting Butter's leash.

"Here put this on." Jihyo gave it to Jeongyeon.

She put it on the dog and let it on the ground. The dog sniffed around and started running. Jeongyeon quickly followed the puppy.

"Where is she going?" Jeongyeon asked Jihyo.

"How would I know? I am not doctor Dolittle." Jihyo countered.

"Geez...which side of the bed did you wake up today?" Jeongyeon muttered lowly.

"I didn't get to check the side. Because some dumbhead lost the puppy and kept calling me." Jihyo snickered back.

They followed Butter all the way to the sewage canals which was dirty and full of trash.

"Oh you gotta be kidding me." Jeongyeon groaned loudly looking at the scene. Kaya was floating above the dirty water on a cardboard box.

"Oh shit." Jihyo ran towards the canal trying to reach for the dog. But she was way too in the middle and mostly stuck. Kaya couldn't swim so the only option left with is for them to get in the water and get her out.

Jihyo looked at Jeongyeon. " Nope I am not doing it." Jeongyeon shook her head.

"Me neither" Jihyo stood up crossing her arms.

"Let's play rock paper scissors." Jihyo suggested

"How many chances?" Jeongyeon asked

"Three" Jihyo suggested. Quickly they started playing the game and ofcourse Jeongyeon lost.

Jihyo stood by the side of this canal holding Butter and watched Jeongyeon get inside the dirty water. It smelled bad and it was full of trash.

Somehow Jeongyeon managed to get Kaya out of the Canal but half of her body was wet and it smelled really bad. Jihyo walked a couple of feets ahead while Jeongyeon followed sulking with Kaya in her arms.

All the way to the house Jihyo was laughing her ass off.

"Wow..what's that smell?" Chaeyoung asked from the kitchen as she sipped on a cup of coffee.

"Kaya...Butter..." Tzuyu ran towards the dogs completely ignoring the adults.

"Oh that's fine...I am okay." Jeongyeon mocked when Tzuyu took Kaya from her arms and stood away from her plugging her nose.

"You are not going inside like this Oppa." Chaeyoung commented from the door.

"I need to shower." Jeongyeon pouted.

"You said we can't let trash inside." Tzuyu joined and Jihyo rolled on the floor laughing her ass off.

Jeongyeon watched Jihyo and smirked before going after her. Jihyo quickly stood up and ran around the house trying to save her from nasty Jeongyeon.

"Park Jihyoooo....stop right there." Jeongyeon yelled and ran after her.

"Yaayyy.....why are you running after me....." Jihyo quickly took out the garden hose and sprayed water on Jeongyeon.

Jeongyeon stopped abruptly when the cold water hit her. Eventually Jeongyeon literally took a shower outside before the kids let her inside for a proper shower.

They spend the rest of the day having fun together as family.
