Devil in the Shadows

Team Shadow Assemble

Each member of the Shadow team assembled in their headquarters. Jihyo and Bambam decided to lead the team with Jeongyeon and Lisa being the second in command. Since Momo couldn't do active field work, she decided to help the team from the inside. Dahyun will assist her as well. Ryujin and Taehyung were ready for anything. 

Jihyo and Bambam laid out their plan.

"Alright team Shadow. Here is the detailed blueprint and activity chart we will be doing for the next few days before we start our contract." Jihyo started confidently.

"First and foremost you have to understand we are playing with dangerous criminals on the other end. Even though few of you may have personal vengeance to deal with, remember this is a team work. I would like to remind you that no one. I repeat no one goes out of the way without mine or Jihyo's instructions." Bambam said loudly making the others nod their heads.

"We need to start from the weakest point."

"You mean Minhyuk?" Ryujin asked curious.

"Yes, but he is not weak and before we move in on him we need more information regarding what Mr. Im said. If he is in fact a fake person, then we need proof." Jihyo stated

"How about we meet this Mina? It will be easy considering Chaeyoung working there." Momo added quickly.

"Who is Chaeyoung?" Dahyun asked Momo.

"She is Jeongyeon's sister." Momo replied a second later. 

"Oh". Dahyun went back to listening to the team.

"Alright, I will send Dahyun and Jeongyeon to it." Jihyo quickly made the choice. Both of them nodded. "Once we get the details, we need to move in to the next step. Momo I want you to get someone underground. Lisa can help you with it. Get as many as we can to spill the information. We can use the academy. Add Ryujin and Taehyung as well." Jihyo instructed.

"Me and Bambam will check with Commander Ming for any loose ends. Also we need to seal our identities." Jihyo clapped her hands dispersing the team.

Jeongyeon took Dahyun to The Myoui Constructions. She called Chaeyoung to let her know that she will be arriving but didn't gave any other information. Jeongyeon was in the waiting area looking for Chaeyoung while Dahyun went to get some water.

"Oppa.." Chaeyoung came rushing and hugged her tight. Jeongyeon smiled and pat her head. She looked good in her office clothes.

"What are you doing here all of a sudden?" Chaeyoung asked curiously.

"Actually I came here for business. I want to meet your boss Miss Myoui Mina." Jeongyeon replied casually.

"Why do you want to meet Mina? Wait..is her life in danger? Are you going to give her protection?" Chaeyoung bombarded Jeongyeon with questions. 

"Woah..Woah Chae.. slow down. And did you just call your boss Mina?" Jeongyeon raised and eyebrow at her sister which made Chaeyoung blush. Huh...that's a first. Jeongyeon thought.

As if on cue Dahyun walked in with a bottle of water. "You......." Chaeyoung turned with a pointed finger at Dahyun who quickly raised her hands in surrender. 

"What are you doing here?" Chaeyoung was livid, she emphasised each word and moved dangerously close to Dahyun.

"I.....I....." Dahyun stuttered

"She came with me Chae" Jeongyeon replied for her.

"Wait...Chae...as in your sister Chae?" Dahyun asked surprised.

"Yes." Jeongyeon said casually.

"What is she doing with you Oppa?" Chaeyoung faced Jeongyeon for an answer.

"She is working for me. I will explain it later Chae. Now can you get Miss Myoui to meet me or not?" Jeongyeon quickly jumbed into business.

Chaeyoung glared at Dahyun but complied as her Oppa said.

Mina was looking through some documents when she heard a knock on the door.

"Come in." She called out in a soft voice.

"Hey Mina. Are you busy?" Chaeyoung's head appeared at the doorway and a smile formed on her lips.

"Hey Chaeyoung. No am not busy. Just going through some routine documents." Mina responded gesturing her to enter.

"Oh wow. That's good. Well....I have someone here that I would like you to meet." Chaeyoung rocked back and forth in her heels and Mina smiled again. She is cute. Mina thought.

"Who is it Chaeyoung?" Mina asked excited.

"Well...you remember I talked to you about my Oppa." Chaeyoung's voice brightened.

"You mean your Unnie." Mina corrected.

"Yeah. The same. She is here and she said she would like to meet you." Chaeyoung replied eagerly.

"Oh...really? What's the occasion? Anything special?" Mina frowned. Why would her sister want to meet her ?

"She said it's business. I don't know much details. If you are busy I can ask them to come later. " Chaeyoung said and almost turned back when Mina's voice stopped her.

"No..no..let them in. I have time." Mina politely accepted. Chaeyoung smiled and uttered a 'be right back' and came back with two people.

Jeongyeon eyed the Japanese beauty in front of her. She is a defenition of classy elegant beauty. Her straight hair, bold fashion and bossy vibe was too much to handle. No wonder Chaeyoung is smitten over her boss.

Mina observed the two people and she immediately knew who was Chaeyoung's 'Oppa'. The tall person had every feature of Chaeyoung. She is built nicely and is confident. Mina could definitely understand why she is an Oppa material rather than Unnie.

"Hi. I am Yoo Jeongyeon. Chaeyoung's sister." Jeongyeon held her hand out for the girl to shake.

Mina stood up from her chair and shook her hand." Myoui Mina." She said politely.

"Wahhh....." Dahyun let out a squeal looking at Mina. Her eyes did the heart emoji and Chaeyoung frowned. Not liking the scene at all.

"I am Kim Dahyun.." Dahyun quickly extended her hand for Mina to shake. Before she could shake her hand Chaeyoung slapped it down. Dahyun's smile faded and she looked at Chaeyoung gritting. Chaeyoung simply smirked.

Jeongyeon raised her eyebrow at the interaction.

"Anyway." She decided to break th awkward situation." I would like to talk to you about some business. Privately." Jeongyeon suggested.

"I am not sure what kind of business I will be able to do for soldiers." Mina stated confused.

"The kind that involves your friend." When Mina looked confused Jeongyeon continued." Mr. Im send me."

Mina's eyes widened in realisation.

"Chaeyoung. Could you give us a moment please?" Mina asked Chaeyoung who looked at her confused but still obliged.

Once Chaeyoung left the room Mina asked them to take a seat.

Chaeyoung paced impatiently outside Mina's room. It's been an hour since Jeongyeon went inside. She tried listening to their conversation but couldn't make out anything.

After few minutes, Jeongyeon walked out with Dahyun holding  some paper works followed by Mina who was smiling and shaking her Oppa's hands.

She isn't jealous of her Oppa but if there was a competition between Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung she knew everyone would pick her Oppa and she was for a slight moment afraid that Mina would like her Oppa. Which she couldn't digest.
