Commander Ming invited the team for another meeting with Mr.Im. The hospital room quickly became their place of gathering. Jeongyeon was prepared this time. She had a lot of questions in her mind. Jihyo asked Bambam and Lisa to come with them as well, so that they can contribute to any kind of inputs. 

Commander Ming handed the signed papers of the contract to serve for Mr. Im to the team. He wasn't a part of the team but Jihyo requested him to be a part of it. 

" Well now that the contract is officially signed, you guys carry on with the plans. I will be on my way. Call me if you need anything Jihyo. " Commander Ming left the room with a final message.

"Before we install any sort of plans,  I want a clear picture about the situation we are in." Jeongyeon started.

"Anything I can answer for you, I will do it gladly." Mr.Im said from his bed where he laid.

"Good." Jeongyeon nodded. " First of all why are you in the hospital?" 

Mr. Im sighed. This is the first time he will be talking about his health condition. " You might all want to sit down for this." He politely asked everyone to be seated. 

"I had done a lot of bad things in life, intentionally or unintentionally." Jeongyeon rolled her eyes and mumbled "Nothing new there". But Mr. Im chose to ignore it for the time.

"My greed lead me to circumstances that I couldn't get out of. When you came into Nayeon's life, I was shocked. I thought I failed as a father, because my daughter was in love with a girl." Jeongyeon's blood boiled. 

" I was quick to judge. I didn't tell anyone about it. But she mentioned that you were part of the military I was curious.  I casually mentioned it to my friend at that time about Nayeon loving a military personnel, I purposefully omitted the girl part. They scared me, manipulated me into believing that you came to destroy my life." Mr. Im stopped for a moment before continuing. 

"I asked Nayeon to leave you. She resisted. She cried and screamed, she was ready to leave everything behind for you. But my wife's medical condition became worse. I asked her to convince Nayeon to stay. She had no other option." Mr.Im wiped his eyes. Jeongyeon swallowed. She knew this. She remember the last time Nayeon came to see her. She was a crying mess. Jeongyeon was stationed out for a mission, but when Nayeon called one late night she came rushing to Seoul. 

Flashback 

22 year old Jeongyeon parked her motorbike near Jihyo's apartment. Since Jeongyeon can't bring Nayeon to their family home, she asked Jihyo for a favour and the later agreed quickly. Nayeon was waiting at the door. She came rushing to the soldier as soon as the elevator opened. She hugged Jeongyeon and cried. 

"Hey baby, what happened?" Jeongyeon was worried.  She hasn't seen Nayeon cry like this, even when she found out her mother had cancer Nayeon stayed strong. But this was different.

"Can you please hold me?" Nayeon begged her and Jeongyeon couldn't say no to that. 

They stayed embraced in each other for hours then Nayeon made an odd request. 

"Can you make love to me Jeongyeon?" Nayeon looked up pleadingly and her eyes filled with tears. Jeongyeon was unsure of what to do but her heart broke seeing her like this.

"Baby, I told you already. We can wait as long as you want. We don't have to rush it like this." Jeongyeon said calmly. They have been dating for two years and yet they never made love, sure they have kissed and fooled around but Jeongyeon respected Nayeon's privacy. She knew the girl was scared about her first time and Jeongyeon was patient, and she was ready to wait for as long as Nayeon wanted. 

"No. I am ready." Nayeon said shaking her head. She leaned up and kissed Jeongyeon softly. She pulled her collar towards her in a desperate attempt to bring her lover closer. Jeongyeon let her lead. She let Nayeon kiss her. When her tongue sneaked past her lips Jeongyeon knew Nayeon was serious. She stopped breifely before looking into her eyes.

"Are you sure?" Jeongyeon asked cupping Nayeon's face. 

"Yes." Nayeon replied. Jeongyeon looked into her eyes and found certainity. That was all she needed. Picking Nayeon up, Jeongyeon walked into the guest room which she used while she was at Jihyo's and placed Nayeon on the bed.

Nayeon's heart beat faster when she saw Jeongyeon discard her jacket. She sat up on her legs and motioned her hands to Jeongyeon who walked forward and stood in front of her.

Nayeon unbuttoned Jeongyeon's shirt. Jeongyeon watched through hooded eyes as her long fingers clasp the edges of her shirt. Something about it sparked inside Jeongyeon. She grabbed her hands and brought it to her lips. Kissed each finger while looking at Nayeon. 

Slowly she leaned down and kissed Nayeon roughly. A small moan escaped Nayeon's lips which fueled Jeongyeon's desire.. She pushed Nayeon to her back and crept on top of her. Clothes were thrown across the room and it piled up at the corner. Moans and grunts filled the room as the lovers devoured each other. 

Jeongyeon took Nayeon's virginity that night. It was the first and last night the couple made love. The next morning when Jeongyeon woke up she didn't see Nayeon. She looked everywhere but all she could find was a note in the bed side table in Nayeon's handwriting. 

Sorry for everything. Please forgive me- Nayeon.

Jeongyeon broke that day. She was like a mad person searching all over the town for her love. She even went to the Ims residence but they didn't let her in. For months Jeongyeon searched for her, tried to contact her but nothing. Then the mission came along and Somi died. Jeongyeon was an emotional wreck. She blamed Nayeon for losing her focus on the mission which lead to Somi's death. 

Then five years later she heard about Nayeon's wedding. She was there, hiding from everyone and watched the love of her life getting married to another man. She saw her in a wedding gown, a very beautiful bride. She smiled and paused for the photos. Jeongyeon cried that night. Jihyo saw her break down, her screams filled her apartment that night. 

End of Flashback

"She forced a smile every single day after her marriage." Mr. Im continued which broke Jeongyeon out of her thoughts.

"I thought she was happy. But when my wife died, she turned cold towards everyone. " 

"When did you know things were wrong?" Jihyo asked curiously.

"After an year into my wife's death, one of my old friend from Japan visited me. Mr.Mouyi from the Mouyi Constructions. He came with his daughter to invite for their company inauguration. His daughter Mina is an architect. When she came to my office for the first time, my son in law Minhyuk was working on a project for our company. He had a model of the building that he designed in my office. Miss Mina showed interest in the project and I let her take pictures of it." Mr. Im said recalling the things that happened afterwards.  

"A week later when I went for their inaugural function,   Mina asked to meet me in person. She gave me a draft of a design which was exactly the same as what Minhyuk designed. It was very much identical that I couldn't spot the differences. Later she said that , this was one of her classmates design back in the uni. I thought it was a coincidence but Mina went far from that. She said everyone of the projects Minhyuk had done had resemblance to her classmates work. Again I thought the man worked for Minhyuk but what she said shocked me. Her friend has gone missing for years." I couldn't shake it off. But I was afraid to ask Minhyuk about this so I did a deep investigation. 

"Jeong. Isn't the Myouis were Chae works?" Jihyo asked Jeongyeon confused.

"Yea you are right. So you think Minhyuk is a fake?" Jeongyeon asked Mr. Im curious.

"I don't think. I know he is fake." Mr. Im gritted out his teeth angrily.
