The Announcement

It's been two days since the incident at Jennie's concert. Jennie has been hospitalized and is under care. She didn't sustain any injury but the doctor prescribed her complete rest.

Jeongyeon visited Jennie from time to time but she had to take care of Tzuyu as the poor thing was so scared. Oddly enough, she saw Lisa outside Jennie's room every single time.

"How's she?" Jeongyeon asked Lisa.

"She is recovering. A little grumpy but not bad." Lisa replied casually.

"Hmm...did she say anything regarding the incident?" Jeongyeon asked again.

"Surprisingly no." Lisa added thinking .

"Alright. Let me see her." Jeongyeon walked inside the room hoping that she could get some answers.

"Hey Jen." She greeted Jennie brightly and sat next to her on the bed.

Jennie quickly sat up and hugged Jeongyeon. She was so relieved to see her.

"Hey Jeong. You didn't come to see me this morning." Jennie pouted a little.

"Sorry. I was with Tzuyu." Jeongyeon replied

"Poor thing. How's she?" Jennie asked sadly.

"She is still frightened. She needs time." Jeongyeon sighed. She was worried. Tzuyu is different from others. She necessarily didn't have any medical issues but she was socially awkward and introverted. She doesn't do well with traumas.

"She will be okay Jeong and I am sorry. " Jennie lowered her head ashamed.

"Why are you sorry ?" Jeongyeon asked.

"Everything happened because of me." Jennie teared up as she fidgeted with her fingers.

"Hey...hey .... Jennie. It's not your fault. Do you remember anything from that day?" Jeongyeon asked trying to get more information.

"I think we were getting ready for the concert. Then Tzuyu came and we talked for a bit.....then Rosé had a phonecall and she was going to open the door.....but it didn't open." Jennie said vaguely remembering things.

"Then what happened?" Jeongyeon asked.

"Then... There was smoke....a lot of it. Like something with a funny smell....and I couldn't breath. The last thing I remember was Tzuyu and Rosé at the door...then everything went black..." Jennie looked ahead lost in thoughts.

"It's okay. Don't think about it anymore. We will look into it. Take rest." Jeongyeon said and she tried to get up but Jennie pulled her shirt.

"Don't go. Can you please stay for a few more minutes?" Jennie asked desperately.

Jeongyeon nodded and sat next to Jennie against the headboard. Jennie snuggled on to Jeongyeon's chest. Jeongyeon planted a kiss to her forehead and caressed her back.

Few minutes later Jennie fell asleep and Jeongyeon left the room tucking her in.

Lisa watched it from afar. She felt her heart squeeze a little. She couldn't figure out why.

When Jeongyeon walked into Tzuyu's hospital room, Jihyo was watching the news. Bambam sat next to her with Chaeyoung making a juice for Tzuyu when she wakes up.

"Mr. Im has called a press meet. There is a rumour that he is announcing his successor. " Jihyo informed Jeongyeon.

"Let's hope this plan works out. We need a reason to start." Bambam replied looking at the screen.

Reporter : Mr. Im of the IM Corporation has invited the medias in his office for a press conference. There are rumours that he is going to announce the next CEO of IM Corporation. Public expects that the position will be handed to his son in law Mun Minhyuk. Mr. Im will be speaking to the media in a few minutes.
