Beast Mode

Sana was checking Tzuyu at the house. The poor thing had a fever. Chaeyoung called her in the afternoon saying that Tzuyu was shivering and her body temperature was high. Sana immediately left the clinic to check upon her.

She watched the sleeping girl for a few minutes before standing up. She closed the door lightly and walked into the living room. Jeongyeon and Jihyo were in a meeting and Chaeyoung didn't want to bother both of them. Since Sana is a doctor she thought the best idea would be to call her.

"She is fine. Just a little temperature. Give her plenty of water. " She told Chaeyoung who was pacing in the living room nervously.

"Thank God. Oppa would kill me if she knew I didn't call her. " Chaeyoung bit her nails. " I told her not to eat ice creams. She ate two yesterday and she wanted more today. I even dropped her off at the store this morning to buy ice cream. No ice creams for you Tzuyu-ah" Chaeyoung yelled at no one.

Sana chuckled." It's okay. She is fine. Just relax. I will stay for the night if it makes you feel better. We can have a family night all of us." Sana suggested, knowing too well that Jeongyeon will be a mess and Chaeyoung is very much frightened by Jeongyeon's temper.

"That's a good idea." Chaeyoung smiled brightly and went to her and Tzuyu's room.

Jeongyeon walked into the house later that night. She had her gym clothes on. She placed her gym bag in the foyer and removed her shoes.

"Hey Jeong." Sana called out from the living room.

"Oh hey Sana...I didn't see you there." Jeongyeon replied smiling.

" Tzuyu is sick. Don't panic. She has a little fever. Chae said she ate a lot of ice cream. Probably that's why. And I did a check up. She is fine and sleeping peacefully." Sana explained everything.

"Thank you Sana. I don't know what we will do without you." Jeongyeon smiled brightly.

"That's what families are for Jeongie. Go on freshen up. I will set the dinner." Sana said as she made her way to the kitchen. Jeongyeon nodded and walked into her room picking up the gym bag.

Everyone sat in the living room watching TV, when a flash news showed up.

38 year old man found dead in an abandoned building near Han River. The victim has been identified as a child molester and rapist. He has been beaten up in a pretty bad shape. His genitals had been crushed with force and his face beaten up unrecognisably. There is a mark on his neck which the autopsy report states was caused by heavy punch repeatedly aimed at the same spot. Police assume that it was done by some local gangs. There are multiple wounds on the victim and they said it probably would be done by several people. The investigation is going on as of now. The photo of the victim has been published by the police. If anyone has any information regarding the murder, please contact this number on the screen.

The news then showed the photograph of the victim on the screen. Tzuyu's eyes widened realising who the man was. She shivered and pulled the blanket a little closer. Slowly she turned her head to look at Jeongyeon. There she saw it, Jeongyeon rubbing her knuckles. She swallowed a bit and looked up. Her Oppa had the coldest face she had ever seen. Her breathing shallowed, she saw the Beast in her Oppa's eyes.

Jeongyeon knew Tzuyu was looking at her. She didn't say anything. But what she failed to notice was Sana's stare. She knows.

The kids went to bed early. Jeongyeon tucked them in bed. Kissed both of them good night. Tzuyu didn't let go of her sweatshirt until she fell asleep. Jeongyeon stayed in the bed.

When she came down Sana handed her a glass of wine. They settled into a comfortable silence.

"Does it feel a little strange?" Sana asked out of nowhere.
