Brave Tzuyu

Momo was in the store next to Jeongyeon's house to get ice cream for Tzuyu. Ever since the incident at the store, Tzuyu never really felt confident going back. Since the Unnies like to pamper her, they always bought her everything she needed without even asking. That morning Tzuyu had a fight with her Oppa for refusing to stay home.

While Momo understood why Jeongyeon was being protective towards her sister, poor Tzuyu never really understood the wrong things happening around her. She is a pure soul who trusted everyone easily. Which scared her Oppa a lot.

As Momo pocketed the change and walked out of the store, she saw a couple of SUVs passing through the road. The brand and build of the vehicles confused Momo. The area Jeongyeon lived in was typically a village where they rarely had luxury vehicles pass by. Even the car Jeongyeon owned was a Kia Sorento and the only luxury car the people over there would have seen is Jihyo's Mini Cooper. Since Jihyo's father Mr.Park owns a farm for peaches and grapes, they drive around in his father's pickup trucks most of the time as it is more convenient.

Momo looked ahead to see where the SUVs are headed. Sana went to the clinic early that morning and it was just her and Tzuyu in the house. When she saw the SUVs turning towards Jeongyeon's house, panic rose and Momo picked up the pace.

She took her phone out of the pocket and dialled Tzuyu's number.

"C'mon Tzu pick up..." Momo muttered as she sped up to reach the entrance. She had to stop dead on tracks when she saw men in hoodies step out of the vehicle.

"Shit...this is not good." Momo moved to the side to hide from their vicinity.

She looked at her phone and Tzuyu wasn't picking up. After one more attempt Tzuyu picked up the call.

"Unniee. " Tzuyu greeted as usual.

"Hey Tzu, listen. Unnie forgot the wallet in the study.....ummmm....can you get it for me please." Momo decided to play things cool before hell broke loose.

"Aww...Unnie I was watching a movie." Tzuyu sulked.

"Please Tzu. Can you hurry up? I will buy you kimbap." Momo was trying her best to persuade Tzuyu. The men will be on the door any minute.

"Promise?" Tzuyu asked excitedly.

"Yes. Promise. Now c'mon go to the study quickly and get the wallet." Momo rushed.

Tzuyu got up and walked towards the study. It was her Oppa's office room basically. When the Unnies came they spent a lot of time and Tzuyu had only been there a couple of times. Tzuyu felt it odd when Momo asked her to keep the call connected and let her know when she reached the study.

"Unnie...I am in the study. Where is your wallet?" Tzuyu asked to look around.

"Tzuyu. Listen to what Unnie is going to say carefully...okay...." Momo hid further into the bushes and watched two men walk up to the door and two men round the corners. They were trying to surround the house.

"What is it Unnie? You are scaring me." Poor Tzuyu stopped looking around and held the phone tighter.

"Tzu. Can you close the door to the study?" Momo asked softly.

"Yeah..why Unnie?" Tzu asked but walked towards the study door to close it.

"I will tell you in a bit honey. Close the door for now. And pull the red lever on the side." Momo instructed. She heard shuffling and a lever being pulled.

Tzuyu was surprised as two metal frames popped out from the sides and locked the door suddenly.

"Unnie...it's locked." Tzuyu was scared.

"Hey...hey Tzu..listen to me....it's just a door okay. Do you see a big chair in the room Tzu?" Momo asked relaxed. She watched the men picking the door lock , probably they assumed nobody was there in the house. But she was sure Tzuyu left the TV running

"Yeah...Oppa's chair." Tzuyu replied again

"Good..good. Now go and sit on it." Momo adviced.

Tzuyu obeyed as her Unnie said.

"Now there is a golden handle on the table in the front. Can you see that?" Momo instructed.

"Yeah. Unnie....I am scared...I want oppa." Tzuyu stated crying

"Hey baby. Listen to me. Unnie is right here. Nothing's gonna happen. Nobody will hurt you okay. " Momo felt herself tearing up.

"Why are we doing this Unnie..." Tzuyu cried out scared.

"There are some bad guys out the door. Unnie is watching them. But don't worry Unnie will get you out of there as soon as possible okay. Just twist the golden handle twice baby." Momo softly said not to panic her.

"Will they kill us Unnie?" Tzuyu asked but held her hand just above the knob. Suddenly there was banging on the door. Tzuyu jerked in fear. Momo heard the noise.

"Don't listen to that Tzu. Hear me out....twist it twice baby...c'mon...you can do it.." momo encouraged

"Unniee..." Tzuyu was full-blown having a melt down and another bang echoed which made Tzuyu twist the knob twice quickly.

The chair Tzuyu sat on turned and it dropped down. Tzuyu screamed in fear and closed her eyes. The chair was moving and she felt like she was in a slide. It slid down further and Tzuyu closed her eyes even tighter while holding onto the chair for dear life.

Momo quickly pulled her hood on and walked towards Mr. Park's house.

Tzuyu finally opened her eyes and she saw lights on the sides of a tunnel. Tzuyu was shocked to see there was a tunnel under her house. The sliding slowed down and before she knew she was in front of a door. Her heart beat faster.

"Unniee..where are you...?" Tzuyu asked softly scared of her own voice.

Suddenly the wooden door opened and Momo's face quickly appeared. Tzuyu stood up from the chair and ran into her arms.

Momo hugged little Tzuyu and rubbed her back soothingly

"It's okay Tzu. I got you..." She continued rocking the distraught baby Tzu to comfort her. They were currently on Mr. Park's garage .

Momo quickly pulled her towards the pickup truck parked in the garage. She situated Tzuyu inside and started the engine. She opened her phone to check on the surveillance camera at Jeongyeon's house.

She saw the men trying to break the study door and making a mess in the house. She decided to wait until they left. If they see a truck nearby they will follow.

Ever since they started taking missions for the military, Jeongyeon and team knew their life would be in danger from the enemies. Jihyo and Momo all had hidden security settings around their house as well as their parents house in case of emergencies. Jeongyeon built this tunnel expecting an attack on her family.

The doors of the study were high quality steel made and it had multiple layers of protection once the lever is pulled. It will take them some time to pull apart the door. Even when they open it, the way Tzuyu came out cannot be discovered.

Momo felt relieved when Tzuyu stopped shaking for a bit. She had quickly switched off both of their phones and took out the radio from the truck's glove compartment. This truck was Jeongyeon's father's. It was a vintage truck and she kept it modified and in good condition for years.

She informed Jihyo about what's happening. Momo knew if she reached Jeongyeon, she will be there in a heartbeat and things could really get messy. For now Momo's concern was to get Tzuyu to safety and figure out how these men reached here.

After what seemed like half an hour the men came out of the house pissed off. They quickly got into the car and drove off. Momo waited fifteen more minutes before pulling the truck out of the garage and riding to her place.

She looked at a tired and scared Tzuyu. She is silent but she isn't shaking anymore. Which is good. Momo really felt proud of Tzuyu for being brave enough to follow her instructions. She shook her head not wanting to think what would have happened if she didn't follow.
