Jihyo and Jeongyeon walked into the abandoned building.
"Don't you think we are doing something unethical by going behind their back?" Jihyo asked Jeongyeon as she followed her best friend with a tool box.
"We aren't. This isn't their personal battle but mine. You asked to be a part of it when I said no multiple times. So you better stick to the end." Jeongyeon looked back at Jihyo looking cold and serious.
"Alright. Alright. No need to be so snarky about it. Besides I have cleaned up your mess multiple times already better as well see one before I had to dig a hole." Jihyo muttered the last part but followed Jeongyeon into the building.
It was dark majority of the places and not even a single soul can be found. They walked into a room on the top floor.
A man in his fifties had been tied down to a chair. His belly popped out from the constraints and he looked sleeping probably from exhaustion. His clothes were dirty and his bald head sweaty.
"Enjoy the evening nap aren't we." Jeongyeon loud voice boomed inside the tiny room. The man woke up startled and his eyes widened in horror.
He tried to scream and curse but his mouth was covered in a cloth.
"Now..now...now...who do we have here?" Jeongyeon smiled wickedly at the big man tied to the chair.
"Hello Mr. Jun. I hope you liked your stay." Jeongyeon joked as she placed the box on the ground.
The man tried to move his body and wiggle out of the constraints but he was tied to the ankle.
"Relax. We are just talking. Aren't we Ji" Jeongyeon turned around to ask Jihyo who stood there watching the man squirm. She nodded slightly. She may be the captain of the team but Jihyo isn't that used to watch people suffer.
She felt out of place and uneasy. She saw how cool Jeongyeon is while she pulled out tools out of the box used for torturing people.
Jeongyeon pulled out a nail plucker from the tool box.
"Here's what we are going to do. I am going to ask you a question and you will answer me correctly. If you lie or deny to co-operate, I am going to pluck each nail for each question. Are we clear?" The man made a sound which felt like screaming and cursing.
"Oh boy." Jihyo muttered feeling sorry for the man. He has no idea what he had gotten himself into. The man was one of Mun's men back in the day.
"This is going to be fun." Jeongyeon mumbled as she moved closer to the man and sat in a chair opposite to him.
"Question number one. When did you start your financial business ?" Jeongyeon asked looking at the man.
He didn't respond. He just sat there fuming at Jeongyeon.
"I see. Is that how you want to play this game? Very well then." Jeongyeon pulled out the plucker and held the man's hand.
"Hey Ji. Ring finger or small finger?" Jeongyeon asked as she caressed the man's fingers.
Jihyo swallowed a bit but she knew the man deserved whatever he will get as a punishment. "Let's start small." Jihyo stated hesitantly.
"Small it is." Jeongyeon plucked the nail from the small finger with ease and the man's muffled scream echoed inside the room. He shook his hand in pain.
Jeongyeon pulled out a tape from the box and wrapped it around the finger. The man squirmed uncomfortably. Few minutes later after several ounces of blood dropped down the man's finger. Jeongyeon sat up straight watching him turn pale.
