Hitoshi had more long, and consecutive talks with his sister, it was hard for him to come to terms with the fact that what he was doing wasn't going to be worth it in the end.
Especially because the usually aggressive blonde had found such a liking to him, he was actually sweet, honestly past stereotypes of him just didn't feel right when they hung out.
It'd sound childish, but Hitoshi found himself building a small 'crush' per-say. Sure there were things Hitoshi definitely had to remind Katsuki not to say to people because well, they were rude, and he knew it as well, but with Hitoshi's guide it made him a better person.
"Where do you want to go today?" Katsuki asked, a soft smile on his lips. They were in Hitoshi's car and he hadn't even started it yet, he was trapped in his own thoughts until he heard Katsuki.
"Oh? Sorry, yeah.. How about today I take you on a date? A real one, I want to treat you." he said with a smile, starting the car before looking to see katsukis crimson eyes, they were so innocent and sweet.
They just stared for a moment, until the violet-haired male quickly leaned over to steal a short kiss, it only lasted a few seconds, but it was enough to leave them both in a bit of shock.
"Shit. I'm sorry, my sisters been telling me ways to not fuck up, and I just did. Didn't-" before he could finish Katsuki leaned over and kissed him, this time lasting a little bit longer.
"You were just talking so much, I really had to stop you." He chuckled and they rested their hands on one another's cheeks. "You didn't fuck up, honestly I've been waiting two months for you to make that move, or I was gonna."
It was a relief, Hitoshi was especially relieved though. "Really? So I didn't like, freak you out or make you never want to spend time with me again?"
"Of course not, honestly, you've been taking me to all these places for almost two months, I've considered every single one as a date. You're just a gentleman, and that's really what I expect in someone like you." Was it too early to say Katsuki found him to be boyfriend material? Because he did.
"I'm really glad that you've felt that way. I did too, I just never knew how to admit it. Honestly when your dad smiled at me in that way, he seemed like he had trust. I like your dad, he's always really nice when I go and pick you up." Hitoshi paused, he couldn't believe that the only reason they were hanging out now was all for a bet. "Never mind, let's get going now? I'll take you somewhere special."
Katsuki complied, buckling up and looking out the window, it was to a very beautiful part of town, always filled with falling cherry blossom petals.
They arrived at a plateau of beautiful cherry blossoms that went for miles. There was a restaurant there, some small cafes or coffee stands just nearby.
The omega was amazed, his eyes beamed at the sight of pink petals falling and the wind howling. "I know that the weather isn't ideal, but I hope you'll still enjoy it." Said Hitoshi before stepping out of the car and walking to the other side, opening the door and holding out his hand for the blonde.
Katsuki took his hand, shaking his head in disagreement. "I love stormy weather, you actually brought me here at the perfect time." The blonde uttered, just fascinated by the beauty. He'd never been there before.
"Well, that's always nice to hear. Glad I could be up to your standards, mm?" He mused, holding the shorter male nearby him, he couldn't believe this wasn't actually ever going to be a real love. Or it would be, just... shattered in the process a bit.
"Hm?" Hummed the blonde, he had sort of spaced out midway through what the other said. All he heard was standards.
"I don't have standards, I just like to go on dates with..obviously pathetic and desperate people." he jokingly chuckled and met striking Violet eyes.
