Luckily the flight landed perfectly on time and Hitoshi was able to get a taxi straight to the hospital, but he was also told to make a quick stop to get Kat some food because they would definitely be there a while.
But once he finally arrived at the hospital he was overjoyed to see his Omega sleeping peacefully, or as peacefully as you can get with killer contractions and back pain. He saw Masaru waiting in one of the chairs and stood in front of him. "I got the food. How's he doing?"
Masaru looked up from the book he was reading and smiled. "He's holding in there, I know he'll only be better once he knows you're here." He said and got up so Hitoshi could have a seat. "Here, I'll head home for some time, but make sure to keep giving me updates. I'll come back once he's closer to labor, but labor is really overwhelming and I know he'd rather you be the only one here."
Hitoshi nodded a bit. "Thank you for taking such amazing care of him. He's lucky to have you, Masaru. He truly is. I'm glad you've kept him safe all these years and months when I was being selfish."
The brunette only gave a chuckle with a roll of his eyes. "Please. He's my son, Hitoshi, you'll understand that you'll go through any lengths to make sure your child is safe once Ayumi's here." Said Masaru before he pat the teenager on the shoulder before walking out of the room.
A shaky sigh left Hitoshi's mouth before he went to sit beside the blonde and grabbed his hand, rubbing his thumb on the top of his hand. He knew he'd truly do anything for Katsuki and his daughter, he traveled all the lengths to be here now. And he'd do it all over again. A few minutes passed and he could see a look of discomfort come to Katsuki's face.
Katsuki was slowly starting to wake up, but when he felt his hand was in someone else he slowly opened his eyes to see a figure with violet hair. He was half asleep so he really wasn't thinking straight. "Mmm.. Dad?" He asked before fully opening his eyes and blinked a few times before he saw his alpha sitting in front of him. "Hitoshi!? When the fuck did you get here!? Why didn't you wake me?"
Shinsou chuckled and leaned forward to kiss his cheek. "I just got here, so don't worry you didn't miss much of me. How'd you sleep?" He asked and moved his chair closer so he had a better view of his Omega.
"I slept.. Blegh. But it was enough to give me more energy than I had before. I'm just waiting for this to be over, honestly." He chuckled and started to sit up before groaning, feeling those God awful contractions more clearly now since the medication was starting to wear off.
"Well, I got you something to give you even more energy, some food." Hitoshi said, but looked over when a nurse came in to check up, again.
She was the same nurse from before and saw that Katsuki was awake and that he had someone different in the room. "I'm assuming this is the pups father, correct?" she asked before checking the omegas dilation and her eyes widened. "I think you'll actually have to.. Refrain from eating. You seem to be 7 centimeters dilated, you're going to be ready to start pushing once your water breaks. I recommend walking up and down the halls. But the food will only make you nauseous and make birthing even worse." She explained.
A groan came from Katsuki out of sheer annoyance. "I was so excited for food.." He huffed and crossed his arms. "So I have to walk around until my water breaks?"
"Yes, and also do a lot of counter pressure." She said looking at Hitoshi. "You'll have to do that. It will ease some of the contractions especially because now they'll only get closer together. Time them, and once they're only about 5 minutes apart page a doctor. After the 5 minute mark they only start to get worse and closer." And once again, she took her leave.
