Hitoshi had been gone for a week, and in that week it was pure pain and suffering for Katsuki. He even had to invite his father over to stay with him for the next week of the alphas 'vacation.'
But having the extra help in the home wasn't too bad, and thank God the nursery was finished, the hospital bags were packed, and now it was just a waiting game until Shinsou was back home.
Though, it wasn't much of a waiting game as it was a pain up the one has ass to deal with all these Braxton Hicks contractions. His face was constantly soured and his only mood for the past day was agony and anger.
"Okay, Katsuki.. Why don't we try and just take you into the hospital and see what they think about all of these contractions and what we can do about them." Masaru suggested, but he's also been trying to convince his son to go in for the past 24 hours.
Katsuki let out a strained breath and held his knees tightly. "Nuh uh! Hitoshi is halfway across the country, this baby is not coming out until he's back!" He snapped and just leaned against the wall, his knuckles were white from how tightly he'd held onto them.
Masaru sighed out heavily and just paced around the room, feeling a huge sense of worry for the teen. "We can call him on the way there, because I don't think she's going to wait much longer. I bet the doctors will probably say you have almost a day until she's here, the same thing happened with your mother. They'll keep you in the hospital to keep track of your contractions and dilation, they're 30 minutes apart and you're in the very first stages of labor."
"Fine. But if I have this baby without my fiance I will personally hurt you, dad! I can't do this alone. Hitoshi said he would do anything to make sure he doesn't miss the birth of her, so I'm going to make sure he's here with me." He said and started to waddle over to the door, everything was painful and this was definitely not how he wanted to do things. "Just make sure to get the bags in case they actually make us stay there."
The blonde's father got the bags and walked out of the condo with him, locking the house and going to the car. "Okay, you just call him and focus on keeping yourself calm." There really was no proper way on how to keep calm when you were in fear that you'd be going into labor without your partner.
The Omega nodded and the second they sat in the car he dialed his alphas number and waited there anxiously twisting his ring around, waiting to hear the males calling voice on the other line.
Hitoshi had to excuse himself from the family dinner he was having, and answered the phone. "Hey baby, what's wrong? Are you okay?"
Katsuki wanted to say everything was just fine, but it really wasn't. "I think you're gonna have to catch the next flight over. We're on the way to the hospital, I've been getting contractions for the past day.." He said and tears welled up in his eyes, he felt awful that he had to stop all of the male's family plans. "I'm sorry, I feel really bad that you have to drop everything just for me.."
"Wait.. What!? Oh no, I don't care about that. I'm about to head over to the airport now. I love you, just keep calm and keep me updated. I'll make sure to pay extra for the Wi-Fi on the flight so that I can still talk with you." He quickly said and hung up the phone. The rest of the Shinsou family would leave the next day, but Hitoshi knew he had to do this today or he might miss everything he'd been waiting for.
Masaru looked over to his son and pat his shoulder. "See? You won't have to do this alone, just keep yourself calm Katsuki. Ayumi will come into this world greeted by you both." he was trying to be as reassuring as possible, he of course didn't know how quickly the flight would be. But all he could do was hope for his son.
