"I'm telling you, there's nothing!"

Cordelia let out a laugh that was partially shameful.

Finnick sat on the couch across from her, with an unconvinced look, "I don't believe you."

"What are you guys being so loud about?" Mira came in from the kitchen with a soft chuckle at the argument she had overheard for the past fifteen minutes.

"Part of Cordelia's victory tour is displaying her talent," Explained Finnick humorously, "and so far we've got nothing."

Mira laughed again, pulling a look of confusion to both of the faces in front of her.

"Well, why don't you just sing?"

Finnick's face lit up, and he laughed when Cordelia hid her's in her white sweater. He wasn't supposed to know that about her, and that realization only made him laugh deeper, "Why didn't you say something?"

"Because I didn't want to," Cordelia threw one of the pillows, hitting him square in the face, "stop laughing at me!"

"Okay, okay," Finnick rose his hands up in defense, his laugh fading but his smile still prominent, "only if you show me."

It was Mira's turn to laugh as she sat next to her sister, who was sending her a dark glare.

"No." Cordelia said flatly.

"Please," He asked nicely, earning a headshake in response, "I will get on my knees, please!"

"No," She said sternly, her voice then falling into a soft mumble, "as entertaining as that'd be."

Finnick threw his head back, rubbing his hands down his face in frustration, "Come on, Lia! You have to do something on tour!"

"Well, why don't I just tell them what I think of their little fu-"

"Violence is never the answer, dear sister." Mira covered Cordelia's mouth with a bashful grin.

"I will do just about anything for you to sing right now, so this problem can be solved." Finnick feigned desperation, alothough it was so convincing that Cordelia began to think he was being serious.

"Anything?" She smirked.

"Lia!" Finnick and Mira reprimanded her at the same time, warranting her to laugh loudly.

"Okay, okay." Cordelia mumbled defeatedly.

There was a moment of silence before she began, her voice flowing past her lips as smooth as silk.

Used to be scared of the ocean
'Cause I didn't know how to swim
I took one sip of your potion
Now I'm just divin' right in

She had pulled her legs to her chest, her gaze locked on the wood flooring beneath the couch she was on.

I heard your siren's call, it was beautiful
I am drowning, but please don't save me.

Her tone was so achingly raw, hitting Finnick in his core.

I'm in too deep
Can't touch the bottom with my feet
Don't know what you did to me, I can't breathe but I'm living

She repeated the chorus again, her voice carrying her through the lines flawlessly, even the cracks coming in at just the right spots. Finnick relaxed into the couch, his mind at ease from the comfort her voice gave him.

I'm in too deep
Ah ooh-ah-ooh-ooh
Ah ooh-ah-ooh-ooh
I'm in too deep
Ah ooh-ah-ooh-ooh

Cordelia stopped there, the nervous shake in her gut keeping her from going any further. She waited for someone to say something, assuming Mira would first but, nothing came. Just silence.
