"It was absolutely awesome!! The audience didn't know what to think when Phantom Five took over the Sphere Music Hall stage for a few minutes; they were just staring with mouth and eyes wide open and some girls even blushed as soon as the capes fell down. During the actual show in Funtom Music Hall, people's surprise was even greater! The light and sound systems; the merchandise and the glowing sticks; the performance... everything! To be honest, I never expected the boys to be so good at it! So passionate and energetic; natural talents, especially Prince Soma but the others too. Even Clayton, the stiffest and sternest of the five, gets wild while on stage! Grrr!!" Selina clawed her fingers, imitating one pose the boys did, while excitedly related everything about the Phantom Five to Miranda. "Maybe because he can't see well without glasses and is forced to squint, helps him in taking the needed expression." She finished thinking a little.
"Poor boy!! I would bring him some contacts if I could!" Miranda said.
The angel had orders from Spears to acquire a full report on the Phantomhive's progress and combined work with pleasure during her visit. Selina had taken her to a tour around the Hall and at the moment they were tidying up the rehearsal room of the Music Hall, after the boys' rehearsal for tonight's show.
"No way! He will get too panicked if he is able to clearly see the audience thronging the Music Hall. He already trembles like a fish as soon as he gets off the stage." Selina said snickering a little.
Miranda kept laughing really amused. "But... how did you manage to have surround sound systems?" She asked with emphasis. "I mean, this is the Victorian era!"
"Well, young master had no hesitation on spending considerable amounts of money to purchase the latest sound systems, and then gave them to Lady Sullivan, practically sending her to heaven, by asking her to enhance, rebuild them and generally do whatever she had to in order to have the best possible result. Needless to say, her imagination and genius needed only this little nudge to get on fire, and since then she has almost invented everything that will be reinvented in the 20th century!" Selina's eyes were sparkling full of pride for the young girl.
"Awesome!! I just hope the demon is right that he can enhance your Lethe spell in order to cover a greater range, make people forget about all these and prevent any disturbance in the natural flow of events and history." Miranda expressed the worry Selina was also sharing. "Anyway! What about the songs? Who wrote them? I know you have no talent in rhyme of any kind."
"Well... It appears demons have talent in that too!" Selina said and gave the angel some papers.
Miranda rolled her eyes whispering "Of course..." and started reading the lyrics on the papers. She got impressed, interested and then a sudden blush exploded on her face.
"Really now? "Who is that calling me? / What is that sweet, sweet smell?... It is time to hunt the prey I seek! / Is it a tiny little house mouse?... No, it is you! / No matter where you go, go / I will chase you down! / Now and forever, ever! / My appetite never stops!..." Is he serious? And this part here... "Bite into the night! / Shyness ripped to pieces! / Maidens stripped down!!" Don't tell me he never thought how these can be interpreted?" She was really shocked and obviously scandalized.
"A hungry demon luring his prey, maybe?" Sebastian was heard as he entered the room with the signature smile on his lips.
"I would go for really horny teenage boys seducing young girls, considering this is indeed sung by teenage boys targeting young girls mostly, while, quite naturally, their hormones are at their highest!!" She looked at him with obvious accusation.
"Your mind in the gutter... again!" Selina said clearing her throat to steady her voice.
"Oh really? Then why did you turn tomato red once I started reading?" Miranda said with irony to Selina, whose cheeks were on fire and quite hot as the demon felt through his glove, caressing them. The angel sighed. "However, I can't deny they are... quite on spot, considering the goal you want to achieve and the kind of audience you target. Anyway, well done to both. You put quite a lot of work on this... and in organizing a so multicultural Halloween, which I'm sorry I missed!" She looked so genuinely sad for losing all the fun.
