(Once again, whoops)
Dedicated to SkyAngel_ because you are absolutely wonderful (as are your stories). It's lovely talking to you XD
----------------------------------------

Five days pass by in a buzz of excitement emitted from the members of the coven. Enchanters and enchantresses approach me throughout the day while I'm working and thank me for my contribution to the camp. When this happens, I smile politely and nod to them. There isn't much more to say. This small contribution is only a speck compared to the amount of danger I put the witches of the camp in.

Something is wrong. I can tell. The lack of conflict worries me, now more than before. With the giddy witches becoming painfully oblivious, I know the camp is vulnerable for attacks. Because of this, I spend my free time and nights guarding the camp. Sleeping becomes useless and adds to my worries. These worries send my brain into a mess of thoughts, and these thoughts distract me. And distractions are risky.

Through all the worry, I remember to put a smile on my face. It is unladylike to show distress in front of strangers. My limbs become as stiff as my face through all of the fake smiles. But it makes the witches feel safe, and the safe feeling is the least I can give.

Along with the previous worries, the air begins to cool. I could've sworn it was early summer not too long ago, so I couldn't comprehend the change in weather. Were my readings off? Was the date closer to fall then I could recall? The thought of fall approaching worries me the most. With fall comes October, and with October comes the anniversary of the Dark Curse. I know the Council will not be happy that the curse hasn't been affecting me lately, and more so that I spent the hundred years in isolation. It's only a matter of time before I return to hell again, and I'm not prepared.

"Lilith," a voice calls softly. I look up to see Tyler and smile politely. My eyes travel to the empty glass bottle Tyler holds before looking back at the table we stand in front off.

I decided to finally examen the black magic witches control. Tyler decided he would show me, thus taking me to one of few libraries I the camp. This particular library held an alchemy room, used for enchantments and potion making. The room was lit my flickering candles, and was far dimmer than the rest of the library. It was a small room, carrying only a small bookshelf, a wooden table, a glass cabinet full of buzzard liquids and other ingredients, and two wooden chair. Tyler and I neglected the chairs, and chose to stand instead. A large book sat on the table in front of the two of us, in a language I couldn't understand. It looked like a mix of Latin and some other language with a mixture of symbols and letters. I didn't try to understand the script.

"I apologize, please continue," I say to Tyler. He grins at me before turning back to the book. A melting candle illuminates its words and gives the room eerie shadows.

"I can show you something using powerful dark magic, like using voodoo stuff or raising the dead, but I thought you'd prefer something less violent and less gory. Angels are wary about that stuff, aren't they?"

I raise and eyebrow. "You mustn't forget, I'm a fallen angel," I lie smoothly. Tyler shrugs.

"Whatever. I'm going to use my magic and some ingredients to make a potion. You can choose which one, of course." Tyler slides the large book towards me and gestures for me to flip through it.

"How am I supposed to choose a potion if I can't read what the book says?" I ask.

Tyler answers, "Someone already translated the potion names into English on the bottom of the page here." Tyler points to small letters that spell out the words Potion of Health on the bottom of the page. I nod my head in understanding before flipping between the tabs on the top of the page. Each section shows different directions (which I can't read) for different potions.
