Klaus took Caroline on a tour in New Orleans.. He complied with her request when she appeared, asking him to fulfill an old promise he had made to her.. Klaus stood in a distinctive and very special spot for his heart, looking at a painter who was painting freely in the open air.. His gaze was fixed on the painter for a brief moment... Then he turned to his side sharply when he heard her say with pleasure "You are remembering me?"

He didn't answer her as he looked at her for a long time, so she said in a playful way "This isn't the same painter nor the same painting"

He raised an eyebrow and asked quietly "What are you doing here, Camille?"

She responded smoothly "I'm walking around the city, as you can see.. The city is noisy and encourages me to loiter around aimlessly"

He laughed lightly, repeating "Loitering aimlessly!! Have your habits changed?"

She replied with a wide smile "You will get to know my new life soon"

He looked at her suspiciously out of the corner of his eye and didn't answer her statement. Camille looked at who was standing next to him and said with admiration "Beautiful lady"

"An old friend" He answered truthfully.

She laughed, answering in a playful voice "Oh, do you want me to believe you? She must be an ancient history"

"Sort of" He answered in an honest tone.

She replied in a happy tone "Finally you will get a happy ending"

He answered smoothly "What a happy ending, Camille!! I'll be dead by the end of the day"

She modified her sentence "Well, you will have happy moments before you die"

He smiled nostalgically "With you, I would have been happier"

She smiled, a smile that came from her heart.. A smile Klaus knew very well was a truly happy smile.. A smile that always made his heart rejoice.. She said confidently "Soon we will be together.. We will spend true eternity together.. No one will separate us again.. I am waiting for you"

He whispered eagerly "Really!!"

Before she could answer him, he felt someone pulling his arm and a voice other than Camille's calling his name "Klaus"

He blinked several times as he looked to his left side at Caroline, who said lightly "You've been distracted for a long time.. Is there a problem?"

Klaus looked to his right side again, realizing he was imagining and talking to her inside his mind again.. She was reassuring him that she was waiting for him and he would find her again after his painful loss of her.. Klaus prayed with all his heart that her words would be true.. He looked again at Caroline and said with a very special smile "I was lost in an old memory which is special to my heart"
