Klaus was moving happily among the guests.. Today is his big brother's day.. He was standing joking with Stefan and Marcel when he saw a girl.. He asked in confusion "What is she doing here? I didn't invite her!!"
Stefan looked where Klaus was looking to find Camille O'Connell.. Their friend since high school and they work together as well... But she is closer to him than to Klaus and avoids dealing with Klaus... Klaus also stays out of her way... Since high school their relationship has been tense and full of hatred... Klaus closed his eyes in dismay.. She was a friend of his brother's bride.. He always found himself having to deal with her.. His high school colleague whom he hated so much.. He picked up a glass of wine and separated from his two friends.. He watched her from under his eyelashes.. As usual, she was different from everyone.. While all the ladies wore evening dresses, she was wearing black pants that smoothly contained her long legs, and a black blouse covered her breasts without shoulders, topped with a transparent embroidered lace blouse with a ring around the neck and without sleeves.

Despite her difference, she looked stunning and striking beauty... All he wanted at that moment was to pull her and kiss her until she lost consciousness.

High school ended, and with it his struggle to combat his feelings ended also.. They separated and each joined a different university.. They didn't meet for years, and this was a great relief for his heart.. He was finally able to beat freely without fear or caution that a beat would escape for her.
But.. They came back and met again, as if fate was bringing them together again against their will.. They were working in the same place together.. He avoided her as one avoids the plague.. She came back more beautiful in everything.. She had matured and become sweeter than ever.. Letting his heart gasping for a lifeline.. Those who knew them before assumed what happened in high school would be repeated.. Klaus Mikaelson would hate Camille O'Connell again.. But it wasn't hate, it was a different kind of struggle.. He was struggling with his heart and his feelings not to go towards her.. If he loves her, he will never be able to get over her love.. And if she isn't by his side, then this will be his demise.
He took a sip of his drink greedily, and a sentence from Elijah's conversation with Hayley during the wedding ceremony flowed into his mind {I look at you and see the rest of my life in front of my eyes} A small sentence from his brother was the answer to all the questions in which his heart and mind had recently sunk.. Just a look at her face and he can see his future.. A happy, successful man in his work with a woman, he almost melts from the intensity of his love for her.. But does he have the courage to admit such a fact out loud?
He approached with calm steps to where she was standing, saying a gentle greeting.. She turned her face to him, surprised by his proximity.. The man who was thousands of miles away from her, whenever she appeared in his sight, greeted her willingly.. With apprehension, she responded to his greeting, which made his heart murmur in anger.. He whispered in a deep, soft voice as he extended his hand towards her "Will you give me the honor to this dance?"
She looked at his hand, her eyebrows furrowed, her mind wondering if something was wrong with him!! Then she made special and quick calculations inside her mind to find there was no harm.. She put her hand in his and said with a gentle smile, albeit somewhat suspicious "Of course"
With enthusiasm, Klaus pulled her onto the dance floor, experiencing real closeness to her for the first time.. While Camille swayed delicately in his arms, her mind swimming away and her heart unable to believe she was dancing with her first crush.. She had met him in high school, and the moment she saw him, she felt a great attraction towards him.. But the man treated her like shit.. He hated her and avoided her as if she would bite him if he approached her.. She couldn't understand the reason for this hostility, so she gave him what he wanted and stayed out of his way.. Except for some times when she found him sad, her heart couldn't bear it and she went to console him.. Which is as soon as he discovers she had invaded his personal space, even if just a little, and he immediately moved away.
Then she killed with her own hands any admiration she had for him when he started dating many women.. After that, each of them took a different path, but life brought them together again.. And he returned to his hatred for her again.. But now he is the one who approached of his own volition.. So what does he want and what does he intend?!
While Klaus's heart was dancing in joy at her proximity... Camille's heart was feeling suspicious of his sudden closeness... Isn't she the girl he supposedly hates!!
