Klaus was driving his car angrily out of town.. Great pain and blind anger, not directed at anyone in particular, but caused by this unjust life.. He felt the weight of the whole world falling on his shoulders.. Why him? Why? Why? Why? What did he do to deserve all this? He was a good boy who loved colors.. Why did life turn him into a monster who always hungered for blood and violence? As a result of this hunger for violence and blood, he lost everything... All his losses began with her loss... She died in his hands and Marcel hated him... His son hated him as much as he loved him... His siblings, each one of them became residing in another city and couldn't see each other at all... And now he had to live in a city other than the city where his daughter lives.. Is there an end to his pain? Won't life do him justice, even if just a little? He asked in pain, his eyes on the road in front of him "Where did I go wrong for all this to happen to me?"
He smiled tiredly as he heard her tender voice "Why do you think this is your fault?"
He looked next to him to find her sitting on the next seat and said sarcastically "So whose fault is this, Cami?"
She responded spontaneously "Why does it have to be any one's fault?"
"So what's going on, Camille? Why all this happen to me? Am I such a terrible person?" He asked tiredly.
He felt her hand on his knee, pressing it with support, saying in a loving voice "Despite all your mistakes, Klaus, you are not a terrible person.. You have a good heart, despite everything"
He turned to her completely to see her gentle smile greeting him.. He took a deep breath, refreshed by the sight of her delicate features.. Then he smiled at her with an exhausted smile before returning his gaze to the road.. He felt his chest tightening severely and his pain consuming his soul like a sticky worm.. He took a deep breath, revealing his pain "I didn't want any of this, Camille.. I didn't ask for this lifestyle at all.. I was a young boy who loved sculpting and mixing flowers to produce bright colors I used for drawing.. But my father didn't like this.. During my teenage years, I learned fencing, archery, and martial arts.. Again, I didn't impress my father... Only to discover in the end I wasn't Mikael's son, rather a dirty secret of my mother... Then I found Aurora to be the fatal blow to the good boy Nik... I didn't want all of this... I wanted to be a painter and have a nice family... And look where life has taken me?"
The pressure of her hand on his knee increased as she gently said "Take it easy.. Take it easy"
After several moments of silence, Klaus regained his calm.. Then he heard her say in a calm, soothing voice "Life has wronged you and you have wronged it too.. You did nothing wrong in the beginning. .Everything was your parents' fault.. The damage Mikael caused and Esther's silence produced this paranoid person who is willing to do anything to protect himself.. So you became a monster, Klaus.. But that isn't important now.. It doesn't matter whose fault this is.. What is important now is what will happen in the future.. What will you do to change the past? What are you about to do to become a better father to Hope and Marcel? You owe it to them, Klaus.. You owe it to them to correct the mistakes of the past.. You owe it to them to become the best father in the world, even if they are in one part of this world and you are in another part"
He asked in a weak, faint voice "Do you think I can do this?"
"I'm sure you can do this" She replied confidently.
His heart was filled with confidence that he was able to do this if she was confident of this.. He turned to look at her where she was sitting, only to find the seat empty.. He smiled as he shook his head in despair.. She would remain his guide to the light and the guardian angel on his shoulder.. His refuge, as he heard Elijah describe her in a distant and vague memory {Camille is my brother's refuge}... All that mattered to him that day was only her and all that was left were vague memories... His solace that helped him go on, as he once told Hayley {I had moments of solace to sustain me}... Indeed, She will remain forever is his refuge, his solace.
