I don't know who wrote the original words.. But they are amazing and profound.

Hope entered the living room, seeking to attract her father's attention.. She placed a gentle kiss on his cheek and sat down beside her, hesitatingly saying "Daddy"
Klaus lifted his head from the book he was engrossed in reading, giving her his full attention.. She asked hesitantly "I just read everyone on Earth has a soulmate, Do you believe that?"
"That's very poetic" He replied with a gentle smile.
"Daddy, what is your definition of soulmate?" She asked hesitantly.
He replied calmly "I told you it is the words of poets and philosophers"
She raised her shoulders and asked insistently "Let's suppose it's not like that.. What do you think a soulmate is?"
In front of his stubborn daughter's insistence, Klaus fell silent, then said with a deep sigh "Well, stubborn one... Well, It's like a best friends, but more"
Memories exploded in his mind of his meetings with Camille.. She was indeed his best friend, who listened to all his nonsense silently and carefully, as if he was telling her the secrets of the universe.. But his feelings towards her were deeper than just friendship.. He was well aware of this, and yet he always sought to talk to her.. He completed his words with a small smile "It's the one person in the world who knows you better than anyone else."
And is there anyone on the surface of this earth who knew him as she did? She entered his mind and saw his fears.. He himself told her secrets, he hadn't told anyone before or after about.. He swallowed hard, realizing he was automatically describing what he had with Camille of rare and refined feelings "It's someone who makes you a better person ... Actually, they don't make you a better person, you do that yourself because they inspire you"
He heard his voice screaming inside his mind {You inspired good in me} He closed his eyes to contain his pain so that his child wouldn't see its traces.. Then he continued in a hoarse voice "A soulmate is someone who you carry with you forever"
And again his voice screamed in his mind with his own words {I will carry you with me} He took hold of a lump, almost exposed his pain, adding "It's the one person who knew you, accepted you, believed in you before anyone else did or when no one else would"
His soul whispered, sending a new wave of torment to tamper with his heartbeat {She did}
He continued with a suffocated sigh "And no matter what happens, you will always love them... Nothing can ever change that"
Didn't he do until this moment?! Hasn't it been years and years since her death, and she is still crouching inside his heart, refusing to leave.. He drew a joyful fake smile on his lips, saying tenderly "I think that's enough.. I excelled in my description over poets and philosophers"
She replied softly "But I liked your description very much, and it is the best possible description, Daddy"
He patted her cheek appreciatively, Hope asking hesitantly "Who were you describing, Daddy?"
He looked at her in astonishment and replied quickly "No one"
Hope smiled a little, saying in a serious tone "You were describing a one, Daddy.. You may have thought you controlled your expressions.. But believe me, every feeling you experienced while speaking was painted on your face"
Klaus sighed resignedly as he pulled out his sketch and then opened it at his latest drawing.. He handed her the drawing without a word.. Hope stared at it for a moment, whispering in shock "Camille O'Connell, right?"
He nodded without speaking again and Hope contemplated the picture with amazement.. Of course, she knew Camille O'Connell even though she didn't remember her.. Of course, she knew about her relation with her father, but she wasn't imagining that her father was still affected by her till this moment.. Did her father love her that much.. She softly asked "This drawing is new?"
He answered with a choked hoarseness "Yes, I drew it yesterday, it was her birthday"
Hope looked at him thinking if his disappearance yesterday had anything to do with this conversation.. While Klaus's mind was remembering where he drew this drawing.. He spent most of his day by her grave yesterday.. He put her favorite roses on it, brought her favorite cake, talked to her, telling her what she had missed since his last visit, and finally drew this drawing as a gift for her.. Hope asked curiously "So she is your soulmate?"
He smiled as he declared it before.. {I would have found you}.. {The person you share a true connection with is still breathing so you and I are not the same} responding in a weary tone "If I have one, it's Camille"
Hope sobbed with sympathy, whispering as she threw herself into her father's lap "Sorry, Daddy.. I'm so sorry"
He answered her confidently while wrapping his arms around her tenderly "It's okay.. Don't cry, Baby.. She is always with me and never left me.. Her body may have left, but her spirit lives inside me and her heart surrounds me from every where"
