Camille was about to end her shift at the bar and was about to close it.. There were only a few customers left in the bar scattered around, among them Klaus.. Klaus Mikaelson who had been sitting at the table opposite her for more than an hour.. He hadn't taken his eyes off her at all, which increased the blush that adorned her cheeks.

Klaus Mikaelson, the Hybrid, who had returned to the city after a long absence.. And she the human who came to the city to investigate her brother's crime.. Then their paths crossed whether they wanted to or not, their paths were crossing to bring them together in the end.. They both admired each other, no, it's not just admiration, but strong mutual feelings.. They both were aware of this fact, but they ignored it and overlooked it.. A fact if they faced it, they wouldn't be able to ignore it anymore.. But this dance between them was tiring and exhausting.

 Camille sighed heavily as she looked away from him and returned to her work.. A strong sigh exhausted Klaus' heart.. His heart that is already exhausted from fighting his feelings towards her.. He realized he has strong feelings towards this brave human that he fights fiercely.. And despite his fierce resistance to those feelings, they took over him and were able to control his heart.. Today he couldn't fight anymore.. Today according to his sister is Valentine's Day and her ugly chatter that didn't end today about love weakened his already weak resistance.

And here he has been sitting in front of her for more than an hour unable to make a decision about what he should do.. Should he take a brave step and tell her what is in his heart or be a coward and retreat as he always does? He noticed the number of people in the bar gradually decreasing until there were only them.. He walked towards her calmly to stand in front of the table she was cleaning.. Camille raised her face to him when she felt his closeness asking humorously "You have stayed here for a long time.. What is going on in your house that made you run away?"

 Klaus laughed lightly as he leaned his elbow on the table "Rebekah is what happened"

 She asked with interest despite her features that laughed at his answer "What did Rebekah do?"

 Klaus sighed heavily, saying in annoyance "She kept talking about love and Valentine's Day and blah blah blah..."

 Camille laughed, so his heart smiled as she answered spontaneously "She's a girl, it's natural for her to talk about love on this day"

 He looked at her face intently, saying softly "You're a girl, but you don't chatter like her about love and these feelings all the time"

She replied in a joking voice "How do you know!! You didn't see me in love and in a relationship with one before"

He replied with suddenly-sprung jealousy "I saw you with Marcel before and you weren't like Rebekah"

Camille sighed not knowing where Klaus wanted to go with this talk, answering softly but with absolute clarity "I didn't love Marcel, Klaus.. It was a mutually beneficial relationship.. But Rebekah is in love with Marcel and wants a future with him"

He tilted his face to the side and his features didn't show the happiness that filled his heart when she declared she didn't love Marcel in that way but only as a friend.. Then he asked with sincere interest "What do you want from the future, Camille?"

She looked into his eyes for a while then answered him with a sad smile "Something impossible"

"Why? What made it impossible?"

Her sad smile widened as she answered with his question "Never mind!! What do you want from the future, Klaus?"

Her sad smile stabbed his heart fiercely.. He wanted to erase it by any means, so he found his heart answer her quietly as he approached her "Would you run away if I said you?"

 Camille took a deep breath, wondering with a bated breath "Would you chase me if I did?"

 He took a step closer to her until only a few inches separated them.. Then he raised a slightly trembling hand, stroking the corner of her mouth with his thumb as if he was erasing that smile that didn't suit her.. Answering in a small, honest voice "I will, till the end of the world"

 She took a deep breath and said gently while looking directly into his eyes "You.. You are the one I want from the future" 

Klaus's features smiled as he contemplated her face with sincere, eager feelings he allowed to appear at last.. While his heart breathed a sigh of relief at his ability to finally reveal what it had hidden for a long time.. His other hand rose to embrace her face, then he wet his lips before capturing her lips in a kiss he had longed for.

 Camille gasped loudly as their lips touched for the first time.. A kiss that was chaste, full of sincere, gentle feelings that tickled and soothed their souls.. Her hand slowly rose to feel his arms to his shoulders, then wrapped her arms around his neck, returning his kiss with all the passion she held in her heart for him.. The heat of the kiss increased and Klaus pulled her closer to him.. He wanted to merge her with him.. She was his desire he had hidden in his heart for months.

When Klaus felt Camille's need for air, he moved away from her a little.. To find a big, happy smile adorning her face.. He laughed happily, saying softly "Happy Valentine's Day, Camille"

She placed a kiss on his cheek, then hugged him tightly, whispering in his ear "Happy Valentine's Day, Klaus"
