CHAPTER 22

"You better answer me Delta, before I lose my temper" Lycidas says his face stone cold like his voice.

"Now that I know t-t..."

"Shut up Melody I'm not talking to you" crap!

"What are the both of you hiding from me, from the rest of us?" He continues, what is he saying exactly?

"Lycidas, baby please calm down. It's not what you think" I try to touch him but he pushes my hands away. Ouch.

"Oh, what am I thinking baby, enlighten me?" I can hear a little bit of Luic in that tone, and if he comes out it's not going to be good.

"Baby please. He just meant that—"

"I said be quiet mate, he can answer the question himself!" Lycidas roars and I flinch at the tone. "Don't talk to her like that" Anwar says fueling the fire.

"What did you just say to me Delta?" Oh no no.

"Did you just tell me how to talk to my moon blessed?" He continues and starts stalking towards us. I put myself infront of Anwar and Lycidas chuckles. "Won't you look at that, you are choosing him over me, huh baby girl?" I don't like that, I don't like that tone at all.

"Baby no, you'll hurt him please stop. Anwar is like a brother to me, there's nothing going on between the two of us" He is my brother. But I won't say that now, will I?.

In this mini seconds something changes in Lycidas' eyes, they don't turn gold to show that Luic is on the surface no, they turn a light darker, grey even. His dark pools like a black abyss turning into grey stormy clouds and he stands there looking straight at Anwar.

Anwar hiss and drops to his knees behind me, clutching his head. As if whatever he is feeling is getting worse he starts screaming and I panic.

"Anwar what's going on, are you okay?" My words fall on deaf ears as he continues to scratch his head in agony.

"Lycidas what's going on, what are you doing to him?" Lycidas stands there and continues to stare at Anwar with his haunting eyes, the more he is quiet the more they get a shade lighter.

"Lycidas please stop whatever you're doing please stop!" I beg, tears starting to fall. I hold Anwar trying to detect the source of the pain, but I think I already know the source of the pain.

As if him screaming and clawing his head isn't enough, his skin suddenly becomes hot under my hands, his voice starting to tire out as if he's losing energy and his nose starts to bleed.

"No, no Anwar stay with me. Help, please somebody help me!" I scream at the top of my lungs. I'm not losing him, I can't lose him when I've just found him.

I feel hands wrapping around me and lifting me up and I screaming trying to get back to him. Through my teary eyes I see Remus, rushing towards Lycidas with Drago closely behind him. What he does next will always go down in history. He punches Lycidas in the face, hard. Lycidas stumbles and falls back while his eyes regain their usual color, before they glow gold.

Jericho rushes towards Anwar and picks up with the help of another pack member. "Please let me go, Anwar!" I scream trying to get out of the person's strong hold.

Lycidas gets to his feet at lightening speed and charges at Remus who lands another hard blow on his face, only this time Lycidas doesn't fall he returns the blow with as much force on Remus jaw and his head whips to the side. His face shows amusement as he spits blood and beckons Lycidas "do your worst Alpha" and he does.

"Let's get you away from here" Darius says loosening his hold and I take it as a chance to run, and I do. Sprinting down the stairs and out the door. Going to the only place I think Anwar will be, the infimary.
