Light Unbridled- Chapter 7: More Than A Feeling Part 2

*The scene opens with Ozzy sitting on the ground in the gas station, clutching at his stomach. Hayden and Andrew are on either side of him, and Zack and Isaiah are standing nearby. Bryce and Ryan are outside pursuing Riley. The mysterious man in the bowler hat stands over Ozzy.*

Zack: If you’re gonna help him, then help him! Don’t just stand there smiling!

Stranger: I told you, I can’t help him, but maybe you can.

Zack: Me? What am I gonna do?

Stranger: You’re a stand user, aren’t you?

*The whole group stares at the man, and then looks around to see each other’s expressions.*

Zack: Uh, I guess I am. I can see them, at least.

Stranger: Do you have the glasses that you took from Jesse Davis?

Hayden: How do you know about that?

Stranger: That’s not important. Do you?

Hayden: Yeah, he does, why?

Stranger: May I see them?

*Zack reluctantly hands the glasses to the man, who puts them on and looks at Zack.*

Stranger: Hm. Just as I thought.

Zack: What?

Stranger: These glasses tell the wearer what someone’s stand is by looking at them, along with much other information, such as age and weight.

Andrew: No way, really?

Isaiah: How did you know that?

Stranger: I was once in possession of these glasses, or a pair very similar to them.

Hayden: How do they work? How do these glasses have the ability to do that?

Stranger: These glasses are believed to be a stand. It’s a stand bound to a physical object, the glasses.

Ozzy: I thought stands were manifestations of your fighting spirit or whatever. Who’s stand is it?

Stranger: This particular stand is independent, and physically bound to the glasses.

Zack: Forget all that! What did it say when you looked at me?

Stranger: Well, from what it can gather, your stand has some sort of very particular time manipulation ability.

Zack: Woah, I’m a time traveler?

Isaiah: I don’t think that’s what he means.

Stranger: Not exactly. Time manipulation can be on a large scale, such as stopping or rewinding time, or a small scale, like what your stand is most likely capable of.

Zack: What does any of that even mean? Do you know what my stand is or not?

Stranger: Just concentrate on summoning your stand. Think hard about it appearing in front of you.

*Zack closes his eyes to concentrate, but nothing happens.*

Zack: Nothing happened. Quit wasting our ti-

*The stranger calmly grabs Zack’s wrist and rolls up his sleeve to reveal a very expensive looking gold and silver watch on his wrist. The face of the clock is in the shape of a star, and the watch has ornate patterns all over it.*

Isaiah: Woah, nice watch, Zack.

Andrew: No way you could afford something like that. Who’d you steal it from?

Hayden: I don’t think that’s a watch, guys.

Stranger: Indeed. This watch is a stand.

Zack: This fancy looking watch is my stand?
