*The scene opens with Penrose in a holding cell. He has already been treated for his wounds and is waiting to be escorted for questioning.*

Penrose: I hope those kids are alright.

Guard: The ones you kidnapped? Yeah, they're much better, now that they're free from you.

*Penrose looks over shocked, he had thought no one was around.*

Penrose: I see.

Guard: What happened to you? You were someone people looked up to. People wanted to follow in your footsteps.

Penrose: All they wanted to follow was their own beliefs they planted on me. I've never been a Saint.

Guard: No one ever said you were, people knew you had a rough style, but it was one that got things done.

Penrose: Getting things done is not the most important thing. Safety of others is.

Guard: And now you've forgotten that. You kidnapped eight young men, all in order to fuel your own research for an investigation.

Penrose: So then what should I expect to happen to me?

Guard: I'm not sure. You're lucky that something else happened at that hospital. Something that can't be explained.

Penrose: What do you mean?

Guard: The police locked off the area and investigated it. Found a lot more dead bodies than the one outside.

Penrose: And they don't believe it was me?

Guard: Was it?

Penrose: . . .

Guard: As I was saying, these bodies all died from deep cuts, blunt force. Nothing along the lines of a gun.

Penrose: So what's their guess?

Guard: Oh, they don't have to guess. They found what was used. An axe. They already ran it for prints and none of them matched yours.

Penrose: Whose prints did they find?

Guard: That's the weird thing. The prints came up as belonging to a man who had died a long time ago. But they took notice of who it was.

Penrose: What do you mean took notice?

Guard: You remember that boy that died on your third job?

Penrose: Yeah.

Guard: That's who the prints belong to. The police are interested in this and you alot more now, considering you were there when it happened.

Penrose: What's their idea behind it?

Guard: They haven't really come up with a concrete one yet, but some are speculating that it's a vengeful spirit going after all the people involved on that day.

Penrose: That's ridiculous.

Guard: Well the only other explanation is that the boy came back to life, but we know that's impossible.

Penrose: Yeah. . .

Guard: Anyways. Between you and me, anything else you wanna get off your chest?

Penrose: For someone who thinks I'm a bad guy, you sure do want me to talk to you.

Guard: I never said you were a bad guy. But I still believe that you've changed, and I also do feel as if those kids are better off when they aren't around you.

Penrose: I already told you I haven't changed.

Guard: Yes you have. Your methods have always been risky. That puts those kids at risk, but in your pursuit of justice you went too far. I don't think you're a bad guy, I just think you made a serious mistake.
