*The scene opens with the group still lying around the dying campfire. Ozzy and Lucy are missing from the group. Bryce begins slowly waking up.*
Bryce: Damn, I forgot how much I hate camping...
*Bryce stretches and looks around to see Ozzy and Lucy both missing. He stands up and walks over to Zack to wake him.*
Bryce: Zack! Wake up. Wake the fuck up. Where are Ozzy and Lucy?
Zack: Huh? What? What do you want?
Bryce: Where are Ozzy and Lucy? You were supposed to stay on guard. Why were you sleeping?
Zack: It was supposed to be Ozzy's turn. Maybe Lucy had to go to the bathroom and Ozzy went with her.
Bryce: How can you be sure? What if they were attacked?
Zack: You're just overreacting. They'll be back. Go to sleep.
Bryce: I'd rather be overreacting than underreacting. I’m going to look for them.
Zack: Ugh, fine. Should we wake the others?
Bryce: Damn right, we should.
*Bryce and Zack go around the fire and wake up the others. They explain to them that Ozzy and Lucy are missing, and sit around the dying fire to discuss what to do next.*
Hayden: Should we go look for them?
Ryan: I don't think that's a good idea.
Bryce: It’s risky, but we at least need to try.
Ryan: If we go looking for them, we could get lost. Then, if they come back, we’ll be gone. We should stay here and wait and see if they come back.
Andrew: Why don't we split up in teams? A search team and a team that waits at camp?
Hayden: Good thinking, Andrew. Who's gonna be on the search team?
Andrew: I'll go. My stand is perfect for this kind of situation.
Riley: Couldn’t you just stay here and search a few miles around us with your stand?
Andrew: It’s way too dark for me or my stand to see anything more than a few feet in front of me. Maybe you can help with that, Bryce.
Bryce: Me? I know I can cause flashes of light, but I'll just end up blinding you more than helping.
Andrew: You’ll still be making light for me. If you’re with me, we’ll have a better chance of finding them. If they’re out there.
Bryce: Don't say it like that. I know they're out there somewhere. They have to be.
Andrew: Well, who else is coming with us? Two people might not be enough.
Bryce: Well, no matter who we take, I'm seeing that the teams aren't even. Let's be smart about this. Ryan, come on.
Ryan: Me? Why?
Bryce: If something happens while we're out there you can get us out of there.
Ryan: I'd rather stay here. Bring Riley or something.
Bryce: Riley needs to stay here with the others. Face it Ryan, if someone or something else comes to the campfire, Riley has more of a fighting chance than you. And as for the others, well, I'm sorry but you guys don't really have stands that can help you fight.
Hayden : We can't all be so lucky.
Bryce: I said sorry, didn't I?
Ryan: Fine. I'll come with you guys. But if it's between my life and yours, I'm saving mine first.
