The scene opens with Zack being grabbed by Darron in the crevice. Zack's body begins to crumple underneath him.*
(Zack): No!
*Zack's arms fall down to his side and his hands are barely able to touch his thighs. Using the little strength he has left, he activates Sundial on himself.*
(Zack): Please! Please let this be enough!
*Zack's body starts to rewind but is constantly breaking repeatedly in the process leading to even more pain.*
Zack: Ahhhhh!
*The pain begins to overwhelm Zack causing him to almost give up entirely but then he remembers why he's fighting.*
(Zack): No! No! I have to get back to Riley! I have to be there for him. Friends always help their friends if they're in need!
*Zack's adrenaline kicks in and the pain subsides for a brief moment. Using the returning strength he has, Zack grabs Darron's right arm and twists it.*
Darron: The hell are you doing? Give up!
Zack: Never!
*Zack pushes Darron's elbow up towards Darron's face. The protruding bone manages to puncture Darron's throat.*
Zack: Take that!
*Darron lets go of Zack in order to stop the excessive bleeding from his throat. Using this, Zack begins to raise the platform he was on again using Sundial.*
(Zack): That was too close.
*As the platform raises Zack activates Sundial on himself again and his body begins to return to its healthy state. However Zack notices something different.*
(Zack): It's even faster than before. My stand is working faster now!
(Narrator): When face to face with death humans tend to find a way to break past their limits and evolve in order to keep themselves alive. Such is the case with people's stamina when running away from a murderer. The same can happen with Stands when the same threat of death occurs.
(Zack): His goal is to grab onto me in order to break me down. But I'm able to counter that. So now what does he intend to do?
*Zack hears a noise beneath him rapidly growing louder and louder. He looks down to see Darron on another platform rising up.*
Darron: Like you said you little shit! This wasn't made evenly. And not all pieces fell at the same speed either!
*Darron's platform quickly catches up to Zack's and Darron jumps over to it. Zack reacts quickly by kicking Darron as he is jumping and manages to kick him square in the chest making him fly backwards.*
(Zack): This guy doesn't give up does he?
*The crevice continues to repair itself as Zack finds himself back in the alleyway from earlier. Using his headstart on Darron, he enters the building to his right.*
(Zack): Not only is my stand faster, I don't have to keep my hand on the objects anymore!
*Zack walks to the other side of the store and uses Sundial on the wall until it fades away entirely. He continues to do this through multiple buildings until he is far down the street.*
(Zack): This keeps me hidden instead of being out in the open in the street. And because I keep putting the walls back after I walk through then it should be harder for that guy to track me down.
*Darron finally reaches the top of the Crevice and looks around him to see no trace of Zack. He decides to walk out into the street to see if he can see him.*
