"He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves wealth with his income; this also is vanity." Ecclesiastes 5:10
Life for Jungkook has completed shifted the second his album debuted.
All it took was that daring leap: singing an entire album in English with messages no innocent little kid should listen to, listen politely to his superiors on the direction where this was going, and never saying no to finally get here.
He was in the gym when he heard the news from Namjoon for the first time, while also recognizing the melody in the background on the radio when he took off his headphones - being greeted with the big change that has just occurred in his life.
His album, Heathen, started charting and being #1 on Spotify and iTunes in a single day. His title track song, Unholy, is taking the lead in bringing Jungkook to become billboard #1 on Top 100 and 200 in less than two weeks. After two months of complete preparation for this - sleepless nights of recording, photoshoots, scheduling, and preparing for interviews - Jungkook got a lot more recognition than he expected to get.
Than anyone expected him to get.
Immediately they all referred to him as the 'Rare Gem' of the agency, since no one ever expected such versatile ranges to come from an artist like him - since as mentioned, he was extremely monotone back when he first started.
Quickly the company sales were boosted, and the album was sold out globally in seconds.
A fame that come from one night to the next day.
And he quickly became the center of attention of the agency.
He had various invitations to attend television show programs abroad, especially in America - since they are absolutely loving his theme and genre of his entire album. Jungkook had to do a lot of studying of course, intensively actually, with English. But most of them were smooth since they know of his not so well English fluency.
They all loved him in seconds, and the agency were profiting off of it well.
However, with all of this fame, came a price - one that Jungkook didn't mind so much.
Since his album resonated around 'Heathens' he had to look image to send the message. His once hidden tattoos were now open on display for the world to see - seen on billboards and on magazines everywhere. His make up always consisted of a heavy eyeliner and dark shadow to give this psychotic yet seductive glow to his presence. His style also changed, either wearing revealing clothing or clothes that'd made any traditional parents scowl in distaste.
Yet everyone else were eating that image up. Making edits on TikTok and various impersonations to it as well.
Jungkook is all the world talked about, or so his stage name he goes by now.
Raven.
And he loved it.
"Nice! Amazing! Now look more daring - Yes! Perfect, just like that!"
At this moment Jungkook is in a shoot for Balenciaga, now that he's the ambassador of the company. There's a fashion event happening in California soon, and Jungkook is obligated to go as representation of the brand - since there will be various of brands present there too, almost like a Gala.
Now he's invited to attend every event and shoot coming his way, and thankfully Namjoon has been in charge of setting that up smoothly.
Namjoon has been a major backbone for Jungkook since the very start, and now that the young star is growing fame, he's making sure this entire era goes exactly according to plan - and that's for Jungkook to become a star.
