"Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beats of the field that the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God actually say, 'You shall not eat of any tree in the garden'?" And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden, but God said, 'You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.'" But the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." Genesis 3: 1-5
Imagine going down a never-ending spiral of colors.
A painting filled with illusions of aggressive strokes of a paint brush yet the gentle daps of a tender touch to add tone to the sharp edges.
Swimming in a pool with the essence of both the moon and sun, twirling your emotions to the passionate flames of the sun and the calmness tranquility bleeding from the moon.
A complete mess of a kaleidoscope of colors and emotions rolled into one- exactly how Jungkook feels right now.
The colors are hazing in and out of his vision, just like the dark purples and reds from the lights as it blares his surroundings in this club - coating his surroundings like a cloud, unable to see anything clear, much less know what's even going on.
By this point, Jungkook has lost track to how many shots he has taken thus far, or with how many people he has made out with, but one thing for sure is that unlike the previous times he's been to these after parties - this time it feels different.
The first time was thrilling, he was having fun and going crazy on that dance floor. There was nothing like that first party that came after, as his first experience to an after party.
From that point on, he has attended many parties like that one, yet little by little, Jungkook has lost his ability to have fun in them. It was always the same rotational cycle, a never ending saga with the same ending - a routine that Jungkook has gotten use to by now.
That's why tonight, despite having a good DJ with amazing music and with the most attractive people Jungkook has ever been surrounded by, he needed extra doses of alcohol to feel something close to how he felt that first time.
But it wasn't the same.
That's why now he's stumbling between his feet, the people moving in almost a haze before his eyes as he glides against the wall for some type of grounding. Long ago did he lose Karma and J-Hope, but not like he needs a babysitter.
He can manage, but the world is just swirling around him and he's not exactly having fun.
There's nothing more he wants than to feel that same feeling he did the first night he went to an after party - he craved for that feeling and energy.
Right now, he just can't seem to get there yet.
"Raven."
Jungkook focuses his head up, meeting Karma's eyes through his blurred vision. He's having fun though, undoubtably. Karma knows how to have fun in these scenes, either that or because of the cocaine.
Whatever it was has him glowing with energy.
"What are you doing hugging the wall? Let's go dance!"
Jungkook rolls his eyes, "This is to keep me from being tempted to drink more."
"And that's a bad thing because....?" Karma chuckles as he lifts up his own glass, suddenly taking out a lipstick from his pocket and using the glass as a mirror to outline his lips with red, glazing his eyes to Jungkook, "I promise you, you're probably a lot better than most people here-"
